I recall attempting to draw my older brother into the Walk in the late 70's. I figured if I could just have him read a This Week, he would see the light. After scanning the first page, he handed it back to me with a two-word observation: "it's hypnotic." He always prided himself on being independently-minded (a mortal sin in the fellowship), was gifted intellectually, and c

Rule, Reign, Wrath & Dissension I think this would be a superb name for an end time Metal band. Note: if I was part of the group, I would insist on being Dissension--arguing for hours on end until everyone agreed.

Note: We have our disagreements on this board, but for the most part we function (I think) without wrath or dissension. In fact, I'm now considering asking God that at least a few of you get the opportunity to rule and reign--whether it's in your heart, or not.

The family will fill the earth, subdue it, and rule over it. Nice...I mean, a little wordy for a bumper sticker, but nice. p.s. Gary, because it pleases God, will rule the family--which will rule the earth. The future is bright. Be prepared to give like you've never given before!

". . .we put our hands over our mouth, and stop voicing that which we don't understand." If the 'hands over the mouth' method does not work, try choking yourself until you pass out. I've heard that is almost always effective.

"God is still somewhere 'out there', while nowhere to be found 'in here'--therein lies the 'antichrist' spirit." You will know them by their fruits. When you relate to people, behind the scenes, as nothing if they offend you in some way, that is not Christ. People who stand up to deceptive, delusional bullies should be lauded.

Interesting stuff. Back in the day, I'm glad I was not aware of the specific danger you were facing at Priscilla's home. I'm sure I would pray for you and judge the dobermans to the pit, and you would end up perishing, and they would live very long, fulfilling lives. Whew! kBOY Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Speaking of Priscilla, I

A couple years ago I did some work inside the L.A. home of Katy Perry. She came into the room I was working in, introduced herself, and spoke to my wife and I (briefly). At least she was courteous. Anyway, I was tempted to ask her if she knew the Lamp, but the better part of my nature served as a restraint. No trips.
