You're right FCSLC, being a Jew in the Walk gave one favor and perhaps even immunity. JRS told Don Lazner, a Jew and once the It Prophet before Gary dominated, that the spirit of Elijah rested on him. Such malarkey and I hope poor Lazner didn't end up living his life as an ego-maniac. Perhaps in changedagain's case, maybe if G&M knew of your Jewishness, they might have seen you as a kind of Elisha character and spared you the discipline. Or maybe not.

Or Judas...
Scratch that--I'm going with the first possibility (undisciplined, bratty Elisha).

LR:

After being assigned to the bullpen in favor of a new "starting rotation" (Hargrave/Miller/Finney/Lindy) of the mid-late '70's (at least at Shiloh), this is what became of "Elijah" post TLW:

P.S. His bullpen-mate at that time also happened to include Peter Whitney.

Yeh, somewhere along their path, Don & Peter seemed to lose their OOMPH. I know Don was preoccupied with law school but don't know about Peter. Mary is another who became a divorce attorney. TheSarge once mentioned that JRS ordained three Blix inner circle women.... Mary, Marilyn, & Phyliss at Shiloh during the late 70's. Someone wrote me that Mary advertises on her webpage that she would like to conduct a marriage ceremony in a shark cage. Still cutting edge after all these years. Although lawyers are not my favorite people, I am glad some of the inner circle such as Don and Mary got out and are not contributing their hefty attorney fees to perpetuate TLW.

Whatta ya say we all dress up as Zombies on Halloween and invite Kjos to speak on "The End Times."

HEADBANGER NEWS: Mahesh Dispenses the Kool-Aid

"Our Tabernacles Service With Mahesh Chavda"

October 23, 2016

"As we . . . bring Christ's Spirit into the equation, (we) become the agents by which people connect with His glory. Marilyn Hargrave, the spiritual mother of The Living Word Fellowship, was (NOT!!!) a living example of this principle."

"She absorbed the things of God (highly doubtful), and imparted them (through ruthless ambition) to those under her ministry."

"We are faithfully carrying on this spiritual legacy." (For the sake of LOVE, hopefully not.)

HEADBANGER NEWS: Double-Standard Facade

"By Our Intercession, We Live In Two Realms"

October 30, 2016

"What began as a call to prayer for me (obviously the most needy) . . . became a flow about living in two realms (known as the famous TLW double-standard)."

". . . we seek understanding and clarity (a tall order for TLW) to know how to walk, live, and execute (the 'execute' part we understand) what God (TLW leadership) has spoken to us."

"Our prayer initiates action in heaven (which has been anxiously awaiting your call) as God sends His (TLW leadership's) answer."

". . . we will ask and keep asking (to ad nauseam) until God's authority (usurped by TLW leadership) prevails."

"We start by asking that we be born of the spirit (after pretending for more than half a century) so that living in two realms becomes our reality (something that has been practiced since the beginning)."

Love the teaser, "We seek understanding and clarity." TLW has always been about living in two realms, "the best of times and the worst of times" (pbxguy has pointed out that's from a Tale of Two Cities by Dickens). Rather than living in a alternate realm where I think I will be able to walk through walls or call down fire on those who cross me, I prefer to live in one realm where my life isn't controlled by obedience to a Nazi hierarchy and where asking to be born of the spirit means living in a realm of loving one another.
