Are you saying kBoy that the Feast of Tabernacles wasn't all it was cracked up to be? My secular Jewish neighbor (sometimes curmudgeon) bought his sukkah on-line last year and turned it into a man cave. I asked him if God tabernacled with him in it and he pointed to his Wi-Fi connection. I also once asked him how he survived the German labor camps and with a great deal of emotion in his voice he said, "We were God's chosen people." I said that I once was part of a Christian cult that believed we were God's chosen people to bring forth the Kingdom. He grinned, "And to think Lily, I took you for having a brain." Gotta love it.

Actually, GOD does not pick & choose, but extends an all-inclusive invitation.

According to Ancestry.com, I'm part European Jew (mother's side). Maybe it's a coincidence, but I'm beginning to think there might be some credence to this chosen people idea. I hope putting this forth doesn't stir up any jealousy in the forum. I mean, we've been getting along so well of late.
