Quotezeuszor Depression is setting in and rearing its ugly head. I have fought this monster before and nearly lost, and but for God's grace I would have. That's why I wanted to live in community in the first place. I't's more like I NEEDED to live in community. And I still do. I cannot live alone. That would be dangerous for me. Hi Zeuszor, I am PMing you with my tho

I think someone from the wikipedia entry on the film contacted Fance 3 etc and confirmed they were not involved in taking it down. The entry now says they were not involved.

The problem is that oprah is a bit of a 'human potential movement' fiend herself and can sometimes quite extreme in her 'create your own reality' views. So it would depend what her views on Landmark as a group are.

All I'm after is to see if its them getting the vid taken down, or our friends from the Forum (which is probably more likely) :D

On the wikipedia article about the video, they are not sure if it is france 3/pieces de conviction who has had the videos taken down. Obviously that sounds doubtful given Landmarks record of censorship of people in the past, but it'd be good if someone could write to France 3 and confirm it wasn't them. Anyone up for it? Love Kath

(article about it, links to the ex-youtube vids.) If it is as named and it's there, it is the same video, just a different name for it. Did you download it, rrmod, and if so what came out the other end? Love Kath P.S Well I tried to download it and it just froze and crashed my browser I'm afraid :o

is a site which discusses many of these self-styled 'shamans'/medicine people. There is also a forum there with threads discussing many of them. I bet you will find that person mentioned on there. Hope this helps, Love Kath

Electronic Frontier Foundation aims to protect peoples freedoms on the internet. Might be something to look at for those seeking to bring the truth about Landmark etc to light online. Interestingly it was started by someone who escaped the clutches of Transcendental Meditation after 7 years.

I think Astagaire who started this thread was involved in making the videos, the name was mentioned in it. If so, jolly good job and I hope you can arrange to have them somewhere else on line soon :D

I don't see how this wikischolarship of everest's is even of any relevance to this thread. The whittering serves to distract the eye from the behaviour or words of Hawkins.

I support you too, notalone. If you feel Dr. Phil has helped you, you are the only one who can judge that. You have to grab help and support where you find it. I know from other sites that people who have been in a 'Christian' cult are really appreciating Dr. Phil raising their profile. As to you personally, take care of yourself first and foremost at this difficult time. Don&#

The person being flogged could then press assault charges themselves surely. A bit more serious than the petty theft you are 'punishing' them for. Sounds like taking advantage of the fact that such people would be reluctant to go to the police, to commit bodily harm against them.

Quotefioraval As Sai Maa's popularity grows, we expect that she will be targeted by people who are not entirely stable. The purpose of my reply is to inform you that this person has a history of maligning Sai Maa, and that the consensus is that she has emotional problems. Even if snarkyanimist were to have emotional problems (as we all do at times- though from her post I see no evidence t

QuotejacquelinejolieThis seems extremely inappropriate to me. What child would actually want to know that his mother was literally forced to have him? (FYI - I don't believe in abortion). Does this make sense to anyone? However, I am grateful to Landmark because I realized while watching all of these very damaged people speak, that if I don't become a better parent to my boys, they

Hi Brenda have you checked out these articles about them:- The Bhagavan mentioned is a living person i.e. this is a 'cult' with a guru. The above links by an ex-member exposes the large amount of money changing hands. Has a thread full of spiritual seekers discussing their experiences of them- not sure if you've visited there already? Best of luck, Love Kath

QuotedwestKath, I have shared personal problems I had in XA here, including being asked to find "my part" in a rape. Respect to you Dwest, it is very courageous of you. I just felt the thread had reached a stalemate and to be reminded of people's negative experiences would show in a more concrete way that AA is a destructive group for some people, regardless of whether it is o

QuoteDave McKayHi Rick, Just a tip that I have picked up from some other anti-cult sites. They spend a little bit of time just kind of being friendly and even saying a few positive things to people before they sneak in their "Tell me something bad" demands. {....} Anyway, Rick, I think if you had tried the more subtle approach that I suggested above, you probably would have been ab

It might achieve more than this intellectual stalemate, and be a more compelling read, if Orange and others who have had a negative personal experience of AA could possibly tell us a little of what happened to them. I appreciate that you may not feel comfortable being completely open but maybe you could share whatever you feel comfortable sharing. For myself I only went to one AA meeting an

QuoteRoss KBecause I think this is the only way I'm going to be able to get a woman, so joining a cult is something that I'm considering. Oh come now. Quasimodo had Esmerelda. Even the Elephant Man was attractive due to his uniqueness and intelligence, he could have found a partner if it was within his physical capacity to sustain a relationship. Think how many more women are out

Quotemjr40 Given that cultic groups and organizations are unhealthy for any given society and its constituent individuals, it follows that any militaristic/terroristic organization is unhealthy. As such, in order to have healthier individuals, one would need to remove or minimize militaristic groups from a given society. How would such a society defend itself against attack or invasion?

I agree completely. Particularly those that practice 'elimination communication.' Some people have too much time on their hands if they want to take the time to avoid the 'negative restriction' on their child of nappies, and risk poo all over the floor.

QuoteDave McKay Now, about the 17yo guy... I can only think of three times in our history when we have had any dealings with anyone under 18 years of age. One was Lakshmi, in India, who also gets a mention on this site. The full story with Lakshmi was not only that her uncle was forcing her to have sex, ... So we have to say that the Rick Ross set is taking the side of a violent, fundamental

Doesn't seem much more substance to that message than 'don't be nasty, be nice' like all other channelled messages. Plus it being deliberately vague so it means something to everyone. But maybe I am not the intended recipient :)
