Thanks for the links.
Oddly, voters in Hawaii just see a personable guy who plays the guitar and a cute daughter/soldier who have the Aloha spirit.
As I have stated before, their involvement with Butler is no secret, but no one seems to care except for the gay and lesbian community.
The article also answers my question and explains how deftly the Gabbards dance around the cult issue. Teflon.
This article is from 2004! That is SEVEN years ago!!!
Who is Mike Gabbard?Had Mike not come under Butler's spell, it is doubtful that he would have entered politics or become so homophobic. He took on things against his nature, which is what cults make people do. Mike and Tulsi both have had their political careers made by the Godfather Butler with his network of followers' support. All this is well documented and evidenced by known cult members involvment in all the campaigns. Follow the dotted lines back to Butler. So how can they really "distance" themselves from the cult with so much indebtedness? Not even mentioning the psychological binding that cults have on members...the entrenchment is so profound... but I can hope that one day Tulsi and others will wake up and expose the cult.
The problem is that unless the gay and lesbian issue is important to a voter, no one really gives a sh*t.
Hawaiians are traditionally very tolerant of other's beliefs, even if they are intolerant beliefs.
Mike, being "native" himself with a Samoan heritage is also a plus politically --- "...so the bruddah is a little strange, he's still akamai and do good for da aina...he still no stinkin' haole..." Obviously no one cares that his ideas and legistlation have been spoon fed into this hollow man.
Opponents will really need to make the case of how being a puppet of a cult will harm what matters to Hawaiians.
Astoundingly, but not culturally surprising, is that he keeps getting elected.
Not to be cynical, (but I am), I wonder if people really care about who is running the show as long as they can still walk the beach in flip flops?
My optimistic side says it is only a matter of time when the younger generation comes forward to tell the truth.
There is already a soft revolution in progress just waiting for a few, unselfish, and brave individuals to unmask Mr. Butler once and for all.
Maybe it can't happen until the Fearless Leader dies.
But don't think for a moment that Gabbard's opponents have not been looking for dirt on the cult, its donors to his campaigns, labor abuses, tax evasion, money laundering, etc. But you are dealing with a clever group that knows how to cover their tracks. There is a slip up somewhere. There are mistakes being made. Someone is going to sing like a bird. They will be caught.
To followers and exers who are following this forum:
Yes, it is unpleasant to look at the truth, and if you have escaped with your lives and "just want to move on", think again.
Document and save everything, every peice of evidence.
You want to do some good in the world, then come out and expose this bastard so he can't exploit another generation!!!!!
