For former TLWF laborers taking a rest today, here's an article from the Aplogetics Index - Religious Cults, Sects and Doctrines Quote MANIFEST SONS OF GOD Part of Neo-Pentecostalism. The teaching that in the last days, a "new breed" of Christians will arise - the "Manifest Sons of God" - who will have super-natural spiritual power and be instrumental in subd

Posted by: Road to Damascus Date: August 31, 2019 10:26AM I have been approached by some that claim that only the ones that are left are truly hurting because they are still on the front lines, and that any who have left are deceived. This is sad to hear, but not totally surprising. The front lines, God's chosen remnant...it never ends. I hope one day to be able to put my feet down

Not sure why C&P are still around and have their hand on everything if they “stepped down” unless they are still getting paid and/or want more money?! Does Haworth Family Ministries own any part of Shiloh or Marilyn Farms? I hope that "Haworth Family Ministries" is a

Re: the "In Christ's Blood" sign-off used in GH's apology letter... Even when TLWF leaders attempt to mimick mainstream Christian leaders, they sound awkward and out of their element at best. It reminds me of a certain president quoting "Two Corinthians". GH should stick with what is familiar to him, like lording it over what is left of his disappearing flock.

Quote Reepicheep, The email was not signed so I’m left feeling like who wants to reconcile?! I’m not even sure who all still participates in this organization. It also was sent in clusters to 15 people at a time, instead of bcc’s. I personally don’t respect any organization that quotes scripture AT people and doesn’t follow it themselves (leadership). Not wanting to say too much and waiting for Onion's response...I just have one question. Who is the "we" they kept referring to? Was the letter signed by any individual? I would suggest to anyone receiving a similar letter that they think hard before becoming involved in some kind of amorphous reconciliation effort. You can do that with individual friends at your own pace. Rest ass

Changedagain, I remember having a conversation about something along these lines in the late nineties. (I'll let you figure out the leader's identity.) His question to a few people at a small meeting was, "Who is a ministry in this local church?" My thinking was that anyone who had been around for several years and was involved was a ministry. Isn't that in the Bible?

More on JRS' "vision into the future" by larry bobo. Quote Re: The Living Word Fellowship, The Walk, John Robert Stevens Posted by: larry bobo () Date: November 26, 2016 08:26PM It seems John’s vision into the future was conveyed differently in various local churches of TLWF. It was much like Christmas – in some locations you were going to burn in hell if you had a Christma

Unfulfilled prophecies, arranged marriages, arranged divorces, abortions ordered, people called prophets, people called nephilim...where did it end? This was all at JRS' command. And so much more. So very many were hurt, and the only ultimate beneficiaries were G&M and Rick.

After looking through hundreds of posting histories, I believe that it is possible that there is some type of a glitch in the system, which in rare cases could cause odd posts by other users to appear in someone's history. Out of hundreds, I saw three instances where this may have occurred. With that bit of doubt, I sincerely apologize to Aardvark for assuming that he posted six years ago as

This issue is complex because it is largely theological and would require a long winded biblical debate. The first question here is whether one believes as the charismatics do, for example, that God can and still does many of the same things that He did in the Bible. If yo

Aardvark, your point about JRS not promoting quasi-occult practices leaves me somewhat dumbfounded. In the late sixties and early seventies, the Bless Ins became a Saturday night staple. Right hand under, left hand over...because that's the direction the blessing flows. Belief in demons, casting out of demons and demon possession were all big. Physical signs in the body to give insight into

And as you probably know CLW continues with about half the number that were there before the implosion (I haven’t been there in almost a year). And obviously those who continue don’t feel they were abused.

Oh, wait, it was actually the same signatures copied year after year. What a crock.
