Just to reassure everyone - the police at the sapphire unit were very kind and receptive. It is only a good first step. We might yet find a better way to pull everyone together. Please direct any complaints or concerns about Christopher Hansard to: Balens Insurance: 01684 893 006, info@balens.co.uk Detective Ins

It is strange that there should be so much expectation on Jeffrey Bowe to prove Christopher Hansard's lies and so little expectation of Hansard to prove his truth. To all his followers, students and apprentices, whether still enamoured or disillusioned, do any of you have any grasp of the medical system he was teaching? If not, why not? Would you not expect it to be very similar to Tibeta

Pema tells us: “I have been looking into CH's activities on and off (mostly off until this thread happened) for several years. My regret is that I did not pursue my original enquiries when the story was rejected by ITV. (The grounds for this rejection, you may recall, were that the investigation would not be credible without at least 2 women going on named record). The result of the CH s

Stephanie Wright is also still happily in business and her PR is good. Here’s a nice piece about her from The Telegraph website: I’ve never met the woman but it seems from what I read that she has not behaved too well. If you have any complaints about her you can contact The General Chiropractic Council who operate a code of ethics and complaints procedure: Pema, I am sorry to see

I agree with Lorenzetti. Jeffrey does occasionally get on my nerves but I acknowledge that it is because his voice is one of reason. I remain grateful for his presence here and for his contribution to exposing Christopher Hansard. He seems to most wind up those who have not yet cleared their thinking about Christopher Hansard. If you want to do something just go the police. It’s the best we ha

Rosemary, I assume the file was already opened. I was asked to make a statement which I did. The contact is Detective Inspector Watling of the 'Sapphire Unit' and the numbers are +44 20 8246 0128 and +44 20 8246 0226. I think it is well worth calling from Canada but I guess that you may be advised to make statements through your local police force. Please do encourage people to g

Thanks as always to Mariah – a wonderfully clear voice. Also, to the rest of you of course because so many clear voices gather here. Nothing matters really beyond the fact that Hansard has abused so many people and must be stopped. Go to the police if you have experience of this and/or go to Pema. I’m still waiting for information on a facilitator to gather people and statements and I’ll let

Please contact Detective Inspector Watling of the 'Sapphire Unit' - part of the Metropolitan Police in London. His numbers are +44 (0) 20 8246 0128 or +44 (0) 20 8246 0226. I went to the Bonpo Lama North of London too. I think it was more than seven years ago. Other ex-Hansard associates went too - seeking advice. Mariah, yes it would be good to track an independent professional t

Jeffrey, your expose of Hansard only appeared this year while the Rick Ross forum opened the end of last year. Prior to that, most people’s experience of Hansard was a thriving practice in London, a number of successful books with major publishers and numerous public appearances around the world. Abuse is a complex and cunning process. If it were not it wouldn’t work. I think that the people

Much as I admire the many contributors to this forum – can we come back to an important question? Do we think Christopher Hansard should be stopped from practicing medicine again? Gondolf’s suggestion didn’t attract much response although I personally think it will have long-term value as a way of documenting many individual experiences of the man. How about simpler option? Would it be wort

Kurukulla, you misunderstood me. When I talk of practitioners in the Eden Medical Centres not being complicit in Hansard’s abuses I mean those who were renting space and practicing independently. I have no doubt that many will be horrified (but perhaps not wholly surprised) to read these postings. I cannot say the same for those who were working directly with Hansard, either as practitioners u

Gondolf, I appreciate your Jim Morrison comment. A friend who knew Hansard and his wife when they first came to London – when Hansard was merely pretending to be an expert in Tai Chi – said he used to be scathing about complementary therapies. At the same time he was constantly picking my friend for information on acupuncture. I also know a couple of gay men who went to him for treatment way

James, like so many of Hansard’s disillusioned patients and acolytes you demonstrate confusion. Do you really now think that Jeffrey Bowe is the problem? Perhaps if you had as much experience as Jeffrey Bowe has of the persecution and exploitation of the Tibetan community and its traditions you would understand him better. I understand Jeffrey Bowe’s anger. I am sure it is shared by many who like

I am regularly touched by the sense of integrity and intelligence that shines from contributors to this forum. So many people I’d like to meet! James raises some important points regarding Hansard’s apprentices. There is no doubt that some of the treatments taught by Hansard were of value and why should they not be? There is plenty of material publicly available on Tibetan and Chinese medicine

The suggestion about contacting insurers is a good one. You will also find that stephanie wright is a registered chiropractor: so there is an organisation to complain to about her at least. It is also worth contacting Kensington and Chelsea council as they will have licenced Hansard's practice and should be alerted. I am glad that more people are coming forward with their experiences.

If we want to know Christopher's contributions to this forum I would suggest looking for those that refer to 'slander' in their defence of the man. Now of course all this negative comment about him under assumed names could be called slander but it would be difficult to act against as the contributors remain anonymous. However, Jeffrey Bowes has repeatedly and publicly challenged C

Around that time it was easy to get certificates from the school you mention in Sri Lanka - through brief correspondence courses. Christopher needed them as he had no qualifications and his story had still not fully ripened. Time Out exposed the school for the fraud it was - especially as they were making all kinds of claims about curing AIDS. The certificates disappeared from many therapists

Mariah, while your words and sentiments are to be admired there is a far more important issue at stake here than the public humiliation of Christopher Hansard. There may be hundreds, if not thousands of people who have in some way suffered because of his sickness. I am sure that most people have by now realised that Christopher’s story is entirely an invention, which grew like a childish lie

Dear Lorenzetti, it was good to have some input from you. You seem unsure whether or not to say more. I, like you, also felt sympathy for Christopher but lost it as I saw the harm he was doing. It is difficult to stop people like him. A criminal prosecution is unlikely. A newspaper expose might help. Interestingly this forum may be more helpful than either. Christopher generates a great deal

My thanks go to Mariah for shining a light on the real issue here. I personally do not care what Christopher writes in his books nor what he does in his workshops nor if he has a product line to sell. As has been said a number of times on this forum people are free to choose what they buy, what they believe and what experiences they need. Personally, I don’t believe his story and have seen no

According to www.bonmedicine.co.uk 'The Bön Community predicted Christopher’s birth and when he was 4 years old his teacher, Urgen Namchuk, found him in New Zealand. Urgen Namchuk was a member of the Nam tribe who came from the remote province of Amdo in Tibet. The tribe is known for their mystics, physicians, adepts and shamans. He had been watching Christopher and recognized him

Ted, thanks for clearing that up. So can we assume that the book by Doctor Asshauer does not exist in English even though Zig read it? Come on Zig are you really a patient or a PR? I'd be curious to know what German word mistranslates into Christopher Hansard? Ted, that is a pretty amazing piece of misquoting don't you think? Doesn't it raise even the teeniest bit of suspi

Anybody find the Doctor Egbert Asshauer book yet? It was quite easy to contact him if you'd like to give him a call. Sarah in Canada - he did work in Canada about ten years ago and made a big mess then. I hope your friends are ok. Vaidya - looks like he got a good hook in you. I guess it's a bit worrying to realise that his story is fake. Tibetan isn't that hard to learn. You

Dear Zig, regarding your statement: I'd be curious to know where I can get this book. It doesn't seem to be available on Amazon. In fact I can't find any English translations of his work. I have seen this quote used by students of Christopher Hansard but when contacted in August 2006 Doctor Egbert Asshauer denied all knowledge of Christopher Hansard. Please enlighten us.

Dear Vaidya, if you want corroboration buy the film. Strange choice of work for a thunder being. Or contact Phillips electronics - he was based in Holland until 1990. What a waste of a good medical training. Godolf, I'll see if I can get you clearer dates on that. Wouldn't you like a little corroboration from the man who tells you he was trained from the age of 4 in this medical sys

His system is cold because he is. As I said he is borderline psychotic. That's why he frightens people who get close. Normal human feelings and empathy are unknown to him. Even murder is acceptable to his psychotic inner reality. He's broken at a very fundamental level. Any good psychiatrist knows the signs of the psychotic - in their company you begin to doubt yourself and everythi

If you want to see how bad an actor he was you can get the dvd for 'Among the Cinders' directed by Rolf Hadrich in 1983. I guess we know why he went into pr for phillips. Almost as bad as his writing. Have you read any of his books? They're really very cheesy - especially the stuff about his teacher. Not a scratch on Casteneda. No photos from those early days? Funny, you'd
