Ciphergoth is that you? :) Well cryonicist whoever you are - I am only responding as I checked an old e-mail account I had and this message flashed up. This is what you call a "ghost thread" - meaning its a very old thread that no-one posts in anymore. You have gone to a lot of effort so Its only fair you get a answer from one of the people you hoped you would address. Just s

Here is where Cryonics should focus their blatant stupidity/anti-science going forward: Yes...it is the *new* "environmentally-friendly" way to have a cremation: Freeze dry and dissolve the bodies. I think a better way would be to lay the corpse on the ground and let scavengers/insects have at it so as to recylce the body...but what do I know? Imagine the MONEY Cryonics co

Have to agree with that. As since was said long ago in this thread, when corpses are donated as biological research tissue, then the cryonics company can do what it wants with the corpse, subject to the Uniform Anatomical Gift Act (UAGA) Now of course, that means they can experiment on the corpse, and then dispose of the body parts or corpse at their discretion, and no one is going to know any

Hopefully with Melody saying all that and standing by him - Shannon Blevins will finally get some of his problems sorted out. Blevins is still a cryoncist enthusiast (!) he never asked for help exposing his abusers to damage "cryonics" despite what Ben Best and Co are saying. They have tried to paint him as a uneducated hillbilly drunk who was abusive to his wife and was making a lo

Thanks richiekgb, human issues and real life damage. Realistically speaking, Styles's 'that which cannot defend itself' can only be referring to the prey, the cryogirls and the noobie vamps and the too trusting buyers of cryonic suspension. Always a mistake to assume that such a one would in fact be 'protecting' anything other than protecting the source of income b

The 'Vanilla Sky' reference above is to a Tom Cruise remake of a Spanish movie (Open Your Eyes) that was panned by some critics. It was peripherally about a possible cryonic suspension, and I enjoyed the film, despite it being voted, in 2010, as being the most confusing movie of all time in a poll conducted by LoveFilm.com Some of the critics on the film: Peter Bradshaw of The

In fact, the Church of Venturism is/was a church, they just changed the name to Society for propaganda purposes. They want to use the religious impulses in people for immortality, as marketing. Mike Perry and others are their inner circle High Priests. As well, if you start your own Church, you can get away with not paying taxes. The reason they are not throwing a fit, as no one knows wh

On top of this, some in cryonics are concerned about Satanism and Vampirism. Why aren't they concerned with the Church of Venturism, which is the defacto Church of Cryonics? What's the difference?

Notice also that the typical cryonics cranks, ignore Robert Ettinger's call for PROOF of the ridiculous and fraudulent claims made on the EUCRIO website, and instead start distracting, talking about religion. Why don't they address the obvious fraud on the EUCRIO website, with their deceptive nonsense about their staffing?

Some good debating points in that discussion on Cold Filter: 'Your present solution allows companies to claim they are providing professionals to carry out cryonic procedures and then send out unqualified and inexperienced amateurs (not to mention Satanists and "vampires") without redress.' and some hard reality: 'If you want to live in a world where people

There are many way's to argue your point across. A Perfusionist/Doctor like Melody Maxim makes a excellent critic on the medical side of things as she can use the appropiate language and has a proper understanding of her arguments. There is no such thing as cryonics estate planning. Once people hand over their money in an irrevocable trust, its gone forever. The "trustee" can "manage" that money as they see fit, using any loophole they want. Notice how the cryonics financial "expert" knows only too well the concept of "running off with the money". Perfect statement of reality.

Including the question, “How do I find a trustee to manage and grow the money, who understands the concept of cryonics and my wishes, and who won’t run of

This message is for Shannon Blevins. A certain individual has received over 80 forwarded emails that uncover the scandalous adventures of some very high profile people in the cryonics world. To name a few individuals and companies are Ben Best, Jim Yount, Edgar Swank, Shannon Vyff, Amanda Blevins, Life Extension Foundation, Bill Faloon and many many others. It is my understanding that these email

As other non-experts have been saying the same thing all along. Scam! The first part of the bogus cryonics "contract" says that everything is your fault, even though you are dead, and it was their fault! That no matter what happens, that the cryonics company is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHNG, EVER! Next comes the most important part. PAYMENT. You pay them $35,000 in advance, and/o

In response to another thread Mark Plus is trying more BS tactics. Its those at the top who are making good money now with cryonics contracts, and who are gunning to sign up thousands of people, and make millions.
