I think there in lies the problem. I never thought of them as "Mom and Dad", but more like "Sis and Bro".

I wasn't around when Bob was talked about like that, but I think his son is still involved. I've heard about what was said before, but can't say I agree with that statement. I know lots of people were devastated when John died, because we were believing for something different. I used to judge some people, so I can't say I'm innocent myself. Sucks that I was so stupid.

I remember mentioning to wife about me possibly working at Impact. She said, no, so that was the end of that.

A wise wife. BTW, when Bob died he owed quite a bit of money to the IRS--around $130,000, I believe. Of course, that weighed on him immensely. He was also very isolated from G & M.
Aside from John, Gary and Marilyn, who benefited from designating a company a "Kingdom business"?

This is one of the most honest assessments of what it has meant being part of the Walk/TLWF. Heartbreaking, but accurate.
Possible book title: 'GOD chose ME to pick corn in Iowa. I am Privileged!'

Around that time Grace Chapel was the red-headed stepchild.

[Let’s all go to the commune to work for the enrichment of our divinely appointed overlords. Although we may end up poor, old, used up, alone, obsolete, destroyed and rejected, it is a requirement of the Lord to gain entrance into His Heavenly Kingdom. Trust and obey the Lord!!]

Can anyone on this forum give chapter and verse to debunk the above “irrational thinking?” I think time, history and personal stories on this forum prove that it’s BS, I still think more is needed. It would be prudent to have a scripture or two to use when an inspired newbie (child or grandchild) wants to jump off the cliff.

Mason and 2016 I liked reading your stories. I was reminded that I didn't want to leave Shiloh. A friend wrote to me that a mutual friend (divorced from one of John's sons) lives in a convalescent home near Shiloh although we don't know if our friend is an employee or resident.

FCSLC the following link addresses and debunks the ungodly control people like JRS, the Hargraves, David Koresch and others have gained by twisting the scriptures. The content of the link is kind of like to trying to read Calvin or Martin Luther. These men are known to have had great minds but their writings require great concentration. Anyway, I put the link in my favs and read it slowly a bit at a time.[www.freedominchrist.net]

HEADBANGER NEWS: Frontal Lobotomy, Please

Exchange Your Paradigm For His Truth

January 8, 2017

"This fellowship has a Word (from what credible source?) to become the family of God and a prophetic community."

"What does it mean to be a prophet? How do we become the prophetic community God is looking for?" (TLW is obviously clueless.)

"We need a renewing of our minds (Ephesians 4:22-24)." (It has worked so well thus far.)

"There are concepts and paradigms in our minds (like ruling and reigning to an abusive level?) that can block us from becoming and creating what the Lord wants."

"There is nothing more dangerous than wrong paradigms (really?); they control our reactions to the world around us." (Like being under the control of TLW leadership?)

"If we are going to be prophets (is this still in question?), we need to let the Lord wash us of our paradigms and be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2)."

"As we pray in the Spirit and behold Him, He exchanges the lies with His truth and His truth sets us free." (How well has that worked thus far?)

If Gary keeps bringing recycled, lifeless messages like this one, he will be lucky to get a pairofdimes in the offering plate. This is pathetic.
