I had a nasty bout of the flu a couple months ago, and it hit me right after lily rose took exception to one of my posts. I'm sure it was no coincidence.

Time for the Dan White "twinkie defense".

I knew a “Dan White” who was holding services on the North Shore of Oahu back in the very early nineteen seventies. I think he was from Howard Klein’s group in Walnut Creek, California. I liked him. Does anyone know what happened to him? There was also a Kathy McDermott who moved from Salt Lake City to the Walnut Creek area that I knew. Almost like forgotten relationships from a time out of mind.

FSCLC,

I believe I once read that Dan White was removed from the church in the mid 80's.

The Dan White that Paleface mentioned killed the Mayor of San Francisco.

Yes, the famous "Twinkie Defense"

My angriest, most unhinged prophetic utterance came shortly after eating a box of twinkies. That could not have been a coincidence!

There must have been many boxes consumed during the "Victory Siege" in Shiloh in the late 70's

It would “seem” that nearly all the people I liked were put out of the church or quit. Only the ones who were on the side of strict obedience, cross-outs
and austere hierarchical rank remained. This causes me to feel that I’m not missing a thing. Kinda (sorta) burns a bridge in a way.
