So, M&C are back in Oregon. I'm sure they know not to show there rearing dishonest face back here in Marysville. Tony's in AZ..... Anyone know if any of them are starting up ministries again? Or do they still call themselves prophets and i forgot what mike called himself. oh well, they just shouldnt be in ministries anymore. And anyone who follows them are idiots and weak. I will never forget the harsh condemning words from them. They made people question themselves or made people feel that they were never good enough. Along the way I have felt like a nothing. They made me feel so inadequate and a bad person. I dont know if i've been able to forgive them yet. It all still resignates w my soul. The wound is like a wound that cant heal and has gone rampend within me......... Anyone else still feel this way?

while reading some of these last posts, it made me see exactly how things worked at turningpoint. Mike had the gift of taking ambitous people and using them to achieve his goals. maybe he even inspired this ambition, and taught how good it was to have it. mainly I'm talking about those who call themselves spiritualy gifted, those who have titles for themselves which is a measure of importantce and standing in the body of Christ. I dont know why it bugs me so much, but it seems like when a person titles themselves prayer warrior , or prophet, or man o god, or even pointing out any special ability to decern spirits. seem to point to them not to Jesus or the Holy spirit. this attitude of spiritual betterness seemed to be taught at t p. and it always seemed so anti Christ to me.. I find it so hard to cast off the teachings of false teachers I know my actions have been antiChrist, when I defend myself, when I seek my own vindication, when I dont forgive those who accuse and even slander, but it is not antiChrist to expose lies, and stand up for the truth. and the truth is any true gifts of the Spirit , come from the spirit, and can be removed by the Spirit. and are the soul possession of the Spirit, they come from Him moving in us not us moving in Him. this requires the oppisite attitude taught at tp it requires self less ness. we cant call ourselves anything, cant take pride in anything, its ALL HIM t think oneself as being spiritually better then another is totlally antichrist activity. I know we were all broken people when we came to Christ, powerless and hopeless. searching for someting to help us. instead of being pointed to Christ, we seemed to be pointed to our own abilities , speak positive, think positive , believe and you will recieve, be great in the kingdom. all that really humanistic crap. one more thing one of the first messages I heard at the chuch I went to was that worship was a response to Gods spirit in us , that first we need His spirit in us to worship, this was the exact oppisite of what cyndi taught us on the worship team. she said we had to usher in the Holy spirit with our music, as if His Spirit needed us to play good for Him to come. I always wondered why it didnt matter if people on the worship team were on drugs or watching porn, or anything else that was going on, or why when so many, including myself for a time, hidden desire was to please cyndi more then pleasing God. I truley believe that the only thing us humans can usher in is emotions, flesh.
that what many call the Holy spirit is really emotionalism at best.

I have a hard time believing that.

I have called TPC and sent a letter asking Turning Point leadership if they have ever addressed all the false teachings from Mike and Tony? and if so how?

What have they done to reconcile all the people who have been spiritually hurt and financially ripped off by SOMA?

so far I have only heard crickets

The Improving State of the World

Kris Vallotton - January 15, 2012 - 11:00

When Jesus died on the cross, the saints took possession of the kingdom. We received dominion, glory and the Kingdom of God. It is time for us to change our mindset so we can leave a legacy; the kingdoms of this world becoming the Kingdom of our God.

I dont know anything about bethel. so I went on their website. this was the paragraph describing the latest sermon. Im not a bible scholar, and I hope I'm not just being critical, cuz I'd hate to meet with my creator and have Him tell me I'm just a critical jerk. BUT. when I read the bible. mine says that when Jesus died on the cross. His deciples (who were close, and hand picked by Him, who could deffinatly be called saints.) were persecuted, and killed here on earth. I'm pretty sure they entered Gods kingdom, but not the way these guys teach it. I'm pretty sure Jesus said you will share in my suffering. and where I go I preprare a mansion for you. Not now I died you will get everyting you want in this world. and have mansions, cars, and even hit C D's on Christian radio. in matt, there is a verse about a wicked and perverse generation who seeks signs and wonders. makes me think that true faith is trusting God when you dont get what you want. its keeping your eyes on Him when the world is falling apart. having peace, while disaster is all around. Trusing Him when you dont get what you want. this faith comes from Him. the peace is His glory. not gold falling from the sky. I bet someday some guy will paint a street with gold to prove God is with him. thus causing easily fooled folks who trust in the things of this world, to flock to him and build up his kingdom. If these guys really want to build up Gods kingdom, teach His sheep to be servents, by being one yourself, to be like Jesus, who didnt say I have all this faith give me cash, and good feelings and a parking space for my donkey in the front of the mall. He said thy will not mine be done. by the way jakes house did take in a lot of money, they gave some to turning point, and another church. so the refreshing did come. their bank accounts were refreshed. I think when man starts sharing the gifts of God freely, like they were given to him. then that will be a miracle. though Im sure there are many who do.

Yes I agree with you. the prosparity message is not the biblical gospel.

This is encouraging!
Maybe this is the first step that the current leadership is finally owing up to the big theological mess they find themselves in today? Im still waiting for a responce to my letter to Turning Point....

This would be good to see a church humbled and restored (I have hope for them) like one of the seven churches, we read about in Revelation chapters 2 & 3.
Radiant Life did not repent, nor did they ever attempt to reconcile to the hundresds of people they Spiritually Abused. That is why I believe God removed their lamp-stand, and ran the unrepentant arrogant false teacher out of town! As Tony Cunningham forclosed on his house and is now living in hiding! Unfortunately there are still a few lost souls still following this wolf and deceiver, they are but just a small hand full of followers.

THE ASSOCIATION TURRNING POINT CHURCH JUST MADE WITH
KRIS VALLOTTON - OF BETHEL CHURCH IN REDDING, CALIFORNIA,
SHOULD RAISE A HUGE RED FLAG!!!

The apostle Paul sent these letters to the Gallatin and the Corinthian church. I believe they are applicable to us today!

I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. Galatians 1:6-10

But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it!
For I consider that I am not at all inferior to the most eminent apostles. Even though I am untrained in speech, yet I am not in knowledge. But we have been thoroughly manifested among you in all things.
Did I commit sin in humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I preached the gospel of God to you free of charge? I robbed other churches, taking wages from them to minister to you. And when I was present with you, and in need, I was a burden to no one, for what I lacked the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied. And in everything I kept myself from being burdensome to you, and so I will keep myself. As the truth of Christ is in me, no one shall stop me from this boasting in the regions of Achaia. Why? Because I do not love you? God knows!
But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. 2 Corinthians 11:3-15

The Leadership at Turning Point needs to come clean on what there theology is today and why!

Why are they embracing KRIS VALLOTTON?

Why the connection with Bethel and it's long list of associations like Todd bentley Rick Joyner, Patrica King and Bob Jones?

I am so proud and happy for Jackie's Reconciliation. Personally, AND I say PERSONALLY, how can there be a reconciliation when Mike and Cyndi will not be there? I don't understand. Someone explain how this is good? Thanks

Hi Miki,

The new pastor apologized for the wrongs done to Jackie in a public meeting in front of current and former members of TPC as well as pastors of other Marysville churches. She was exonerated of any wrong doing. This is a good thing in that Mike's persecution of Jackie is exposed for what it was -- a personal vendetta because Jackie had the audacity to stand up to him. Bottom line Jackie was right and Mike and his hangers on were wrong! I was at the meeting today. The admission by the current pastor that Turning Point had committed fraud by continuing to use the credit card Jackie had in her name for the church tells their membership and those of us who left that Mike & Cyndi, Jeff & Kim, and the entire Elder Board were the real embezzlers -- certainly not JACKIE. It tells us about the character of Debbie Bowman who stood up and pointed an accusatory finger at Jackie at Mike's direction. Jackie has chosen to forgive Turning Point. Jackie continues to act with grace. Deborah, Jackie, and Sid sat there and listened as all the accusations made by Mike in a public meeting were quashed. They listened how previous leadership had victimized Jackie and the Singer family. Jackie received the apology that those who have supported her think she should have had from the pulpit a long time ago. Jeff Barnes could have apologized the first Sunday after Mike and Cyndi finally left -- well that tells us about his character. The Elder Board could have pushed the issue a long time ago and they didn't -- this tells us a lot about the Elders who have served on the TPC Elder Board over the past three years -- with the exception of Rick Lewis who acknowledged his sin publicly and asked for Jackie's forgiveness a long time ago. The meeting was a good thing because under the new Pastor it appears that slander and defamation of character will not be the way that church treats people. Perhaps, TPC has turned the corner -- only time will tell. It gives closure to an ugly period of time where friends and in some cases families were divided by this issue. Jackie has forgiven TPC and asked all of us to put our hurts behind us and move forward in unity to do God's work in Marysville. If Jackie Singer says that this is a good thing, then we should all listen to her and follow her awesome example of forgiveness and reconciliation. I hope Miki that I have answered your question on how this meeting was and is a good thing for everyone.

TPCWOC FINALLY apologizes to Jackie Singer! And the greatest example of walking out her faith -- she forgives graciously. A woman to be admired. I don't think any of us could EVER understand how painful it would be to be publicly slandered and humiliated like she was. Jackie is my example of what it means to walk out the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.
