Thank you for your help. And no, I did not ask for names.

Still curious:

When was the $50,000 given to Mike? Back in March when the Elders "launched" him into his Apostolic orbit? Or was it more recently like June or July?

And can you shed more light on what, exactly, people were told about "false teachings". Was it just a blanket statement or did they name specific teachings?

Did Mike and Cyndi run off because they "knew the jig was up"? Or were they "chased off" by TPC? Or did they leave because they "feared for their safety"?

The elders should write IOUs, with their houses as a lien, to the people that contributed to the building fund. There are records via bank documents.

TPCWOC bulliten for this weekend shows TP is still promoting false prosperity word-faith movement wanna be speaker Ken Ralston at the Tulalip Casino Resort on Tuesday making the TP young adult group unlimited go to the show. I guess TP didn't denouce that false teaching. By having unlimited go to the Excelerate motivational power to produce wealth show by the next great rock star Ken Ralston, he will have a lot of victims show up so he can mesmorize them into positively confessing their vision to produce wealth so they can help Jeff Barnes pull TP out of the depression it finds itself in. The more billionares Ken can produce for Jeff Barnes the quicker TP can return to its greatness. Plus, on top of that its a good way of brainwashing the young people into submission like false Apostle Mike Villamor was so gifted at. Control the young people make them into spiritual slaves and convince them they can become billionares. If a couple of the young victims get lucky and hit the big slot machine in heaven all the problems at TPCWOC will go away!

Buddy you are making a good point as long as TPC keep going down the path of promoting this false prosperity word-faith movement and people like Ken Ralston the leadership has not repented. I would be praying for these people and for there salvation.
The by product of these false teachers is worship the pastor the preacher the guest speaker etc. these frauds come in and rob God of his glory and they try and steel member of the flock.
Steel kill and distroy is there motive.

I had an interesting message about the infamous letter sent to Jeff Barnes which was purported to have been penned by the Pastor of Damascus Road and signed by six local preachers. It is being reported that in fact the letter did cut ties with TPC over false doctrine. No big surprise there, the multiple locations for summer jubilee in locations with insufficient parking for the events shows that area churches are distancing themselves from TPC at all costs. I have also noticed that not just one but several local churches are preaching on the topic of Surviving Apostasy this month. I looked that up and found articles about surviving false doctrine. With God there are no coincidences. It appears that the Lord has been speaking to local pastors on what the people in Marysville need to hear to understand the professional demise of Mike Villamor in Marysville and the trouble still present at TPC and which TPC refuses to deal with and which will lead to its ultimate demise. Wake up Senior Pastor Jeff Barnes and step up and lead or get out of the way and start the search for a new Senior Pastor with no ties to TPC with a hiring committee made up of folks like Cathy Shaw, Chris Gutenkauf, Marty Maston, and all of the Deacons who resigned and left because of the false teaching that has taken place over the last several years -- no current elders or deacons allowed. Then maybe a Godly Senior Pastor can come in and clean up the mess Mike made and which you turned a blind eye to at the cost of the flock you should have been protecting.

Back to the message I received, dragging out the witch hunt to shift the blame from Mike and others for the trouble at TPC to our dear sister in Christ while a committed decides what to do is a cop out. Either turn over the evidence to her lawyer or exonerate her. What you have done is every bit as evil and wrong as the Salem witch hunts were in the 1690's. You handled this whole thing badly by your own admission, so clean up your mess! The Pastor od TPC Lebanon has given you wise counsel so pull your head out of the sand and do the right thing. Your credibility and that od TPC and its elders has been so compromised that even if there were some truth to what you said no one -- and I do mean no one with a brain will ever believe you or take anything you say seriously in this matter. But for the record we all know Jackie and her integrity is something you will never tarnish or destroy. You just come off looking like a bunch of inept buffoons. You have bigger problems than Jackie Singer to address so take the advise of Pastor Bontrager and exonerate her and move on address the real issues at TPC. If you had listened to Jackie TPC would not be in the mess it is now in.

I have attached a picture to this post which sums up this forum and its purpose.

The following is a post from Rick Lewis on Facebook. This letter was written to correct the many misconceptions regarding his resignation. They are people of integrity and are trying to right a wrong. Please encourage Rick and Kari as they are on the road that many of us have had to follow. It is difficult to step out no matter when you choose to do it. It can be a little discouraging when those who have left don't welcome you and those whom you have left shun you - a catch 22. So Rick writes below:

As many of you know I am no longer a member and have resigned as an elder of Turning point Church WOC. Over the years there has been several teachings which have strayed away from bibical truth. As an elder is was my responsibilty to protect the flock from such teachings. Instead of protecting the body I went along with the teachings and even embraced them and asked others to do so. Even when dearly loved members left hurt and confused I refused to ask why they were leaving and why they were hurt. I continued to ignore the protection of the body by allowing the senior pastor to make prideful statements and putting himself in a lofty position that eventually lead to more hurt and confusion.

For all this I am truly sorry. I failed to walk as an elder and do the primary job that God had called me to do and the body ratified me to do. I cannot in good faith, knowing all that I allowed to happen, remain as an elder. As an act of repentance and to regain trust with the body I resigned as an elder.

Please accept this as a heartfelt apolgy for my wrong. If you have any questions about this please ask me. Don't go to someone else and question my decision. Many will disagee with this but that is between them and God. I had to do what is right for me and my family. Love you all and I look forward to the great things God will do in me.

Yours in Christ

Love you all and look forward to many great opportunities for connection as families.

Oh you're breaking my heart! Elephant tears only after Mike skips town, how sincere of you! It's kind of like the guy who asks the family for forgiveness after his is tried and convicted. Empty as hell. You were told by people you were doing wrong and you still continued to harm others for the sake of your leader. In my opinion your ass should be sued by all those you have harmed and be forced to pay by one way or another! Ignoring the cries of others, seeing the confused and hurt without so much as a care in your brain and now you expect people to just say "Oh, it's okay - no harm no foul."? You’re pathetic!

I wish Rick would post his apology here himself. Unless you are his friend on FB , which I'm not, we wouldn't know this first hand. He apologized to his friends! I want the opportunity to dialog with him so he can understand the full weight. I want to forgive, but I agree with Mville a little in that he left only after his idol did. And why did he leave? I want to know the real reason.

I read the repost of Rick Lewis's letter and took some time to think about it and go to the authority on how I should react. Matthew 18 was the first thing that popped into my mind: 21Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" 22 Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times." I choose not to act as an Unmerciful Servant of the Lord and answer for my inability or unwillingness to forgive. Then I moved on to Luke 6:37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven." and the list could go on and on. I cannot tell others what they should do. My family has to make the choice of what to do and then act on that choice. Our choice is from Joshua 24; 14"Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your forefathers worshiped beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. 15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." That means listening for God's still small voice, reading God's Word, and following the way the Lord would have us go.

I choose to forgive Rick Lewis. He got sucked up the same way many of us did. Ricks failure to stand up to Mike and leave TPC at the same time we did is irrelevant. I do not want God to hold my sin against me for failing to forgive a brother who is humbling himself, confessing his sin, and asking for forgiveness.
