It is crazy to think about the way that siddha's life just turned into this super frail, vulnerable and fragile spectacle on the physical level, while being more and more demanding, dictative, paranoid and guilt-trippy.

Both of these aspects of him really maximise his whole parasitic and toxic existence.

I think that ultimately he cannot be blamed (this is just a perspective), since he obviously fills a need in people. A lot of people.
This cycle will have no problem endlessly perpetuating itself as long as people have no problem suspending their independence and ability to perceive in their unique way. Just become homoginized into this ignorant group-think.
All this is a lot easier to do than actually facing your fear, or facing everything in yourself.
I don't think this could even begin to happen untill you can become free enough in yourself to look at everything objectively, to recognize your attachment to certain ideas.

You cannot understand your fear untill you look at your defenses and protection from it.
But what you think keeps you safe is actually just shielding you from and blocking out a very important part of yourself.
So what is the result?
Unintegrated people completely driven by a part of themselves they are not in communication with.

the need for and appeal of siddha and all else similar would disappear with the simple looking at and acceptance of oneself.

The longer that this doesn't happen and the more effort that is put into denial of it and maintenance of the band-aid belief system, the more the sickness builds and the more your shadows manifest all around you.

Okay, one of the most appealing ideas to me when growing up was that the Holy names of Krishna are very powerfull. They will protect you from and banish ghosts and other evilness.
It always made sense.

In retrospect, I have never heard more instances of people being harrassed
by ghosts than all through the "Siddha-Krsnas".

I remember being told by other Krishna kids about being heavily messed with by spirits.
I lived in a large old building in New Zealand called "the palace", it was occupied by various Devotees, my family had a room. One of the tenants used to get constantly terrorised by a ghost.
The school in the phillipines had plenty of activity in that field.
the latest of such evidence was when I went to Australia a year and a half ago for my really good friend's wedding, all Hare Krishna.
This was on the gold coast of Australia, most likely all the heads that WORRIED was talking about. They have a huge scene out there.
It was the first time I had been fully srrounded by these kind of people since about 10-15 years ago.

My friend was getting married, and they were having a big ceremony on this Hare Krsna farm. This farm is, of all the places out there, probably the most like a nerve center, they hold the most chants and events, and a lot of people stay there.

I showed up to my friend's wedding, and it was crazy, I saw kids from New Zealand I had not seen since I was 10 or 12. EVERYBODY was there for this thing.
It proceeded, and it was the first time I was seriously in the thick of it for like almost 15 years.
I thought, this is cool, I am sure I can just appreciate this as a celebration, singing, music, old friends, all that.

I really did not like any of it, the feeling was all bad.
I could sense something really strongly.
I looked at everyone around me. They were all chanting their hearts out.
I was looking at their body language and feeling the "vibe".
The following is all I could "see", not literally, but I knew it was happening.
These people were giving themselves away, just opening themselves up to let the vampires feed.
I could feel it all around me, it was definately happening.
There was a presence there of things totally feeding on these people.

ALL YOU CAN EAT, SOUL BUFFET. "what? you're just giving it away? I'm a parasytical sucubus, damn... DON'T MIND IF I DO!"

I later talked with a girl who went as well, she is good friends with my parents and very into that krsna dude.
Anyway, she stayed at that farm the whole week or so around that wedding, and was telling me about being woken by something and she could not move, it was threatening her, I think.
I kinda foget the details, but she was there, and other young girls were staying there, and she and others were being harrased by "ghosts".
And that the farm had a history of that happening to a lot of people there.

So I wanted to talk about this pattern that really makes sense when you think about it.
That is that the more of a "hot spot" somewhere is for "devotional" activity, intrusive paranormal phenomenon correspondingly increases.

Thanks for the ghost stories, Rama das, this is quite interesting.

I remember on the Krishna farm on Kauai they told me that it had been haunted by ghosts and that when people started chanting there, the ghosts disappeared - and that's how the devotees got that place without paying rent (because none of the locals wanted to stay there as it was too scary)...

So your story of people getting spooked out on the old Waltzing Matilda farm is interesting, indeed. Would be enough to drive some of them to seek a "normal" life???

I really don't blame them.

No wonder Chris Butler is so rich!

Did somebody just mention something about vampires?

Sounds more like "representative of Dracula" than "representative of God" :?

Now let me get this straight...

Krishna supposedly has/had 16,108 wives...

Man is supposedly made in Krishna's image...

Yet if Man looks at Woman he is supposed to gouge his eyes out with a dagger...

Yes, that makes sense...

Plus: Krishna is supposedly all merciful, all kind, and our best friend...

Maybe Krishna is the ultimate joker and Chris Butler was the ultimate practical joke !

Yes, this is clearly a healthy and balanced religion.

have a bunch of sad, ignorant, starry-eyed westeners blindly swallow an INTERPRETATION of ancient mythology they don't understand.

They like it because it LOOKS really groovy and advanced on the surface, yet underneath lies an EXTREMELY limited mind prison that is 100 % dictated to the individual.

This is COMPLETELY OPPOSITE of REAL spirituality, real growth.

REAL spirituality is completely unique to the individual, and absolutely NOTHING should be taken on authority.

So the Krsna devotee is encouraged to completely renounce all desire, enjoyment, sexuality and become totally fixated on the form, name and activities of a fantasy man. (GAY!)

Completely surpress all desires while focusing on ancient pornography, yeah, that will make for some very balanced, stable people.

This is a daily meditation from the website gaudiya.com. (gaudiya vaishnavism is the technical term for "Hare-Krishna")

One is encouraged to always be thinking of this, specific parts for various times of the day.

The eightfold daily pastimes of Sri Radha and Sri Krishna have been described in a summary form in the verses of Rupa Gosvami's "Sri Radha-Krishnayoh Asta-kaliya-lila Smarana-mangala Stotram" ("The Auspicious Hymn of the Eight-fold Daily Pastimes of Radha and Krishna"). The verses are as follows:

Summary of the Daily Pastimes

"May Sri Krishna, who daily returns from the kunjas (forest groves) to the meadows at the end of the night, who milks the cows in the morning and evening, and who eats then also, who plays with Sri Radhika and Her girlfriends at noon and at night, who returns to His village in the afternoon and who pleases His wellwishers in the evening, protect us!"

Nisanta-lila - Dawn Pastimes (3.36 - 6.00)

"I remember Radha and Krishna at night's end as They are awakened by various sounds of the parrots that are sent by Vrinda-devi and that cause Them to rise from Their pleasure-bed by reciting different pleasant and unpleasant poems to them. They are joyfully witnessed by Their girlfriends as they are tired of lovemaking and they become afraid of the words of the old she-monkey Kakkhati, so They leave for Their individual homes, although They are still thirsty for more love, and go to bed."

Pratah-lila - Morning Pastimes (6.00-8.24)

"I take shelter of Sri Radha, who is sent for by the Queen of Vraja to cook for Krishna after bathing and ornamenting Herself with Her girlfriends. After cooking for Krishna in His abode She eats the remnants of His food. I also take shelter of Sri Krishna, who, after awakening, goes to the barn to milk His cows and is then bathed and fed along with His friends."

Purvahna-lila - Forenoon Pastimes (8.24-10.48)

"I remember Sri Krishna in the forenoon, who goes into the forest with His cows and His friends, being followed by the people of Vraja. Later in the morning He goes out to the bank of Radhakunda, eager to meet Sri Radha. I also remember Sri Radha, who is being engaged by Her elder Jatila to go out for worshiping the Sungod. Being eager to hear something about Krishna, She sends out Her friends to look for Him. She remains casting Her eyes down the road, hoping that Her friends will return with news from Him."

Madhyahna-lila - Midday Pastimes (10.48-15.36)

"I remember Radha and Krishna at midday, full of desire, being served by Their attendants, enchanted by various ornament-like physical transformations of ecstasy arising out of meeting Each other, being anxious out of shyness and eagerness. Being pleased with the joking words of Lalita and other girl-friends, They perform a sacrifice for Cupid, swing, tour the forest, play in the waters of Radhakunda, quarrel over Krishna's stolen flute, make love, drink honey wine, worship the Sungod and play other sports."

Aparahna-lila - Afternoon Pastimes (15.36-18.00)

"I remember Sri Radha in the afternoon, cooking different dishes for Her lover after returning home, bathing and dressing nicely and being filled with joy from seeing Her lover's lotus-like face. I also remember Sri Krishna in the afternoon, returning home, followed by His cows and His friends, being satisfied when He sees Sri Radha and being fondled by His mother when He meets His parents."

Sayahna-lila - Evening Pastimes (18.00-20.24)

"I remember Sri Radha in the evening, sending many eatables to Her lover's house through Her friend and then eating the remnants of the moon of Vraja's (Krishna's) food, that was brought to Her by a girlfriend. I also remember Sri Krishna in the evening, being nicely bathed, beautifully dressed and fondled by His mother, then going to the barn to milk some cows and returning home again to eat something."

Pradosa-lila - Pastimes at Nightfall (20.24-22.48)

"I remember Sri Radha at nightfall, being dressed by Her girlfriends in white or dark clothes according to the lunar fortnight, going out to meet Krishna with Her messengers in the desire-tree grove in Vrindavana, on Vrinda's indication. I also remember Sri Krishna, who witnesses artful games in the assembly of cowherds at that time, and is then carefully taken to His bedroom by His affectionate mother, from where He goes to the solitary grove to meet Radhika."

Nakta-lila - Nocturnal Pastimes (22.48-3.36)

"I remember Radha and Krishna at night, having obtained each other's company and being worshipped by Vrinda with many paraphernalia, enjoying joking riddles, nice talks, plays and Rasa and Lasya-dances along with their most beloved girlfriends. They contemplate lovemaking and drink honeywine, being masters in different kinds of erotic joy in the nikunja, which increases Their joy."

This is seriously one of the most creepy things ever, it is all sleezy and hedonistic. It is VERY patriarchal-penis-worship, put-a-woman-in-her-place, "cook the man some f****'n eggs, woman" Jake the muss philosophy.

(jake the muss is a character from some amazing new zealand movies, ONCE WERE WARRIORS and WHAT BECOMES OF THE BROKEN HEARTED)

And really adding insult to injury is the part about them getting all drunk and slutty EVERY NIGHT as they indulge in numerous advanced sexual acts untill like 5 or 6 in the morning, these derelicts probably only get 2 hours of sleep each night!

Yeah, that's great. I am sure this could never lead to chronic, crippling repression in the followers.
It is about the biggest contradiction you could imagine, and quite possibly one of the most unhealthy ones ever.

This is some interesting information regarding "krsna" and "jesus", showing how the story of these "savior gods" are identical (along with about 15 other pre jesus savior gods).

The point being that these characters are just creations, the fable attached to them is (1) THE SAME, and (2) CODE FOR THE SUN AND STARS.

It is the same old thing, the real knowledge is ENCODED, and the masses are supposed to be blind to what is being said, taking it all very literally.

It is called Astro-Theology, worship of the sun and stars.

The following is my take on it.

Astro-Theology is the origional religion, we always observed and venerated the heavens, always recognized the sun as our "RISEN SAVIOR".

For a long time now, there has been a very powerfull force set on controlling, dumbing down and disconnecting us from our true potential... a force that exists to hold us down.
They hijacked and DESTROYED all the natural religion, all the knowledge.

They then CREATED religions that ask people to switch off and just BELIEVE evrything, no matter how ridiculous which are SECRETLY refering to what we always have held sacred (communicating to our subconcious), while on the concious level telling us to forget all that, just follow.

The first link goes straight to a part of this show that compares all the parallels between Jesus and Krishna:
