There have been at least a few people who have forward on RR to complain about donations being redirected by ministries without the donor's consent. The post below is referring to an offering taken for the family of Bob McClane at his memorial service. The money ended up going into the 'Apostolic travel fund'...since (apparently) that is Bob would have wanted. I guess the ministry

I've noticed that even owning a Hawaiian beachfront home, voluntarily maintained by church servants, is no guarantee you won't have a 'bad spirit.' (astute observation of the day)

Here's another post that mentions the mine (below). I think I came into "The Walk" shortly after this. I do recall hearing of congregants losing their life savings in this 'investment,' and attempting to recover from a "bad spirit." On another possible topic...I was going to ask how many out there lived in communal homes during your tenure in TLWF/Walk, and what was your experience like. However, I decided that the risk of this forum crashing and burning was too great. I would like it to be around for a little while longer ;)

And this one by 'Invisible' from April 2017 (below). note: I don't recall anything about providing a detailed financial statement to church leaders. Perhaps I had left by that point. I think others in this forum have confirmed that happened, though: Re: The Living Word Fellowship, The Walk, John Robert Stevens Posted by: Invisible () Date: April 29, 2017 11:52AM Many of us

A post by 'Invisible' from October of 2013: Re: The Living Word Fellowship, The Walk, John Robert Stevens Posted by: Invisible () Date: October 16, 2013 12:34PM Around 1971 we began receiving phone calls at our home at any hour of the night - to pray for John Stevens, because he was under demonic spiritual attack by his wife Martha. We were told at that time, not to say anything

Hi dbc, Hello all. As an officially proclaimed "enemy of the church" (thanks for label, JM)I continue to read your posts with appreciation. I'm wondering if anyone can comment on current events - is there an effort underway to reconstitute the fellowship of churches? Is anyone reaching out to say, in effect, "the teaching was elevated. There were problems with the flesh. Let&

BTW, I did get a prompt, pleasant response from the moderator. My TLWF conditioning led to believe he might respond with something like this: 'I don't want your sh*t on my calendar.' What a relief.

Disagreements with those that manipulate a conversation to arrive at an acceptable conclusion, I try to stay clear of. 'We're not praying for the death of the nephilim, but the death of the spirit that is moving through the nephilim.' I remember John, speaking from the pulpit, justifying the death prayers by using that distinction (paraphrased). BTW, I wonder if anyone ever informed Martha that the church was not really praying for her death, but the death of the spirit that moved through her. A
