There have been people posting here in an attempt to defend the Hickman group and deny that any wrongdoing took place.

Having said that personal attacks are against the rules.

Please refrain from attacking other members of this board.

The purpose of this board is not to be like Facebook, i.e. used to look up old friends.

The purpose of this message board is to discuss destructive cults, controversial groups and movements.

to MOD: indeed!

and as far as 'defenders of hickman group' we would all like to identify them. still, we can attack what they say without attacking the person. Yes?

Yes.

You can disagree, dispute what others say, but without personal attacks.

"Healing"?

At some point it may be best to seek counseling from a licensed professional.

A message board is no substitute for that.

To find out if someone is a LICENSED psychologist you just have to go online. Type in ''psychology license verification' NY or Maine or Whichever state

The info. pops right up

Wasn't Philip Ramu a licensed psychologist? Am I remembering correctily.

Psychotherapy with group member PHILP Ramu?

Maybe I'm wrong.

My neighbor is a psychologist and his name popped right up....what about group members who have practiced over the years and likely have helped abusers/victims....

Clearly none of them ever reported crimes....

I think about these things.

Happy July 4th to everyone. We live in a country where each of us is free to learn the truth about all our leaders and then uase the brains we have to make decisions for ourselves. We are all free now from the brain washing of cults and let's hope we stay that way. Living and surviving a cult experience only made each of us stronger in the end.

The purpose of this message board is to HONESTLY discuss destructive cults, controversial groups and movements.
Let's never forget the victims who still suffer.
Let's never forget the CHILDREN still trapped by the wiles of vicious narcissistic leaders.
Let's never tolerate those whose happiness is found through the suffering of others.
