I will be dropping my kids off at Dominion School where they will become divine, shouting "Pow" and "Bam" while crowning each other.

I woke up this morning and "gave my spirit to Marilyn". Just like we are all taught to do.

Thinking about a plus the Kingdom has provided:

If captured by ISIS the shock won’t be as intense ----- Just more of the same when dealing with “Divinely Appointed Young Militant Loyalists.”

I can remember being in the LW as a member and hearing it said that some people called the LW a "cult". I can recall the general response being "Oh they just don't understand us", or "it's just the religious world persecuting the true way".

And people would say "Look, Gary and Marilyn are hanging out with Bishop Key and Mahesh Chavda. We must be ok. These guys are not calling us a cult"

Since leaving I now realize that G&M were not showing them everything. Also, I've recently learned that there's a sort of "professional courtesy" between ministers where they do not publically criticize each other. They just don't do it, maybe out of fear of something similar being exposed about them.

But after much study. It is now very clear to me just how much of a destructive cult the Living Word is. Even now.

The compulsion to control and exploit other people, traits of a sociopathic nature, are evident in spades in TLWF leadership (the few that actually make the important decisions).
Yes, Paleface, I think there is an unspoken courtesy among many religious leaders to not criticize or question the others 'ministry'--in effect, protecting what they each have.

With “Divinely Appointed (Appointed by Stevens) Young Militant Loyalists” in place and in charge of all things who or what stood a chance. Certainly not prayer.
The Bible had no chance. Logic and reason had no chance. Common human decency had no chance. Defenseless babes in Christ had no chance. God had no chance!!!

Hell cult on earth to the extreme.

Of all the posts here since 2004, Larry Bobo's have been the most valuable to me in my healing. Bobo's post have helped me to separate fact from fiction in the LW. When you are dealing with religious based cults, it seems to me one has to look at the Bible in sorting it out. I may have no reason to visit this forum anymore.

I wish I got to know Mike Wood.
The fact that he gave a damn about his employees probably disqualified his company from being considered a Kingdom business.

BTW, perhaps this question will reveal my worldliness...oh well. But what kind of severance package/pension do long-time TLWF pastors (30+ years) receive once they are laid off? How does it compare with other religious corporations?
