No, good analogy. Many addicts go to rehab a few times before freedom. Puddington and I tried to leave a few times before it stuck. John lied. You will die or be cursed upon leaving is residue conditioning. Psychological help available. Freedom doesn't kill.

Well said you two. My addiction was JRS science fiction stuff, you know the mystic and the paranormal powers. After decades of being a "bruised reed" and suppressing everything that was the LW, there remains a residue openness to that stuff which I can pretty much fend off by watching an X-Men movie. I know many ministries were taken with the same thing. It still fires off my PTSD (Post Trump Stress Disorder... lol) to recall the ministries on the platform with their hands out waiting for that burning sensation (anointing) in their palms.

Hi there - I don't have any expectations for this board! I'm simply giving my input. Thanks for the nice words about being there for my sister, but this cult blew my family to smithereens and she won't be coming to me for help. Take care.

What he said . . . I would add Gary to that list. P.S. I remember him as a brown-noser and a bit of a thug. Yet another person in this cult that I do not take seriously. (I do, however, take very seriously the damage he has inflicted on others.)

Yes--not infrequently. You're not alone. Welcome to this board, howmidoing.
