Byron Katie did do some stuff for cheaper or even "free" for a while, that is to build things up. Every group like this offers some stuff for "free", just like every fisherman puts a "free worm" on her fishing hook, to lure in the fishes to bite on the barbed-hook they can't escape from, so they can be reeled into the net, then gutted.

But of course, all that time, she was soliciting massive "donations" from people, so was still making a lot of money. Now they do both.


As far as Jenny McCarthy, that is standard operating procedure for these types of groups and Guru's. They troll for some celebrities, to try and gain some free advertising. But Jenny McCarthy was made famous from MTV and Playboy. She is not going to know anything about these types of methods, and is herself deeply involved in various New Age promotions.
If anything, Jenny McCarthy is ripe to fall completely under the spell of someone like Byron Katie, and if she is "producing" the event, Byron Katie has taken over and moved in.

Notice that every single mainstream cult has a few key celebs they use like this, Scientology, Kabbalah, etc. They treat the celebs totally different from "regular" people, as they go into the VIP stream, and arrive in limosines. If Jenny McCarthy involved in "producing" Byron Katie, then she could also be making some money herself off it, and it would cross-promote her own books.
These Guru's usually treat celebs with a completely different series of techniques, as its done in private.

The image on the movie poster tells everything. Byron Katie must have designed that image herself, as its similar to her other images, and has many meanings.

Up in the sky, where the sunlight is breaking throught the clouds, you see the words MIND CLEANSE with Byron Katie. So that is not too subtle.
Byron Katie is living up above the clouds just like "you know who"...the Big Guy/Gal.
God.
But of course, like Byron Katie says in her books, she is "invisible".

and there is a dark shadow image of a middle-aged female, with her hands clasped in prayer worship, gazing up to God, who exists where the light is breaking through in the image, which is the EXACT horizontal center of the poster where the name BYRON KATIE is written. This woman is praying to Byron Katie.
So the image is clear. Byron Katie and God are One. Same deal.


And in the New Testament, the 2nd Coming of Christ...
Guess what? Christ was also "coming in the clouds"...

The "star" of that movie, also comes down from the clouds, at the beginning of the movie in a long sequence.

I feel a bit silly posting this, as it smacks of Melanie Griffith's character in the movie "Working Girl". (A refresher: the movie co-starred Harrison Ford, Alec Baldwin, and Joan Cusack. It was a big hit.)

Griffiths' character, Tess McGill, extracted business ideas from newspaper gossip columns.

Similar to Tess McGill, I've just read a gossip item which is allegedly about some celebrities who've been discussed in this thread. The info just might be true, and it could turn out to be relevant to this thread.

Oh yes, this is definitely BK herself. A lot of the things she says are actually turnarounds. Her comment tells me that she is actually very upset with the whole thing, especially when she says she is laughing out loud. She also does several things at once: when she says she can see it from Peter's perspective, she is agreeing with him. So in fact, she is not happy now with what Jenny McCarthy did, but just in case Jenny reads or hears about this, she says that she has a heart of gold.
The fact that she calls it four innocent questions, means that she has realized that people are noticing the poster is not so innocent at all.
Her last statement is interesting, : "I would never do anything to ever hurt us/the work intentionally", why would she even put that in there? Turned around it reads: I would do anything to ever hurt you/the work....

They are just modelling her with the flattery. One of BK's main manipulation techniques is that she will smother you in sugar. People seem to love it, which is probably why there are always so many volunteers around. They just love the crumbs that are being tossed to them.

yes, the sugar-stuff is verbal Love-Bombing.
There are a lot of love-starved people on this planet, so its another common technique BK uses.
Most cultish groups are Love-Bombers.

Something about this smacks of another rebranding of Byron Katie.
There were 2 other "producers" listed for this film.

So its interesting they try to pin criticisms on Jenny McCarthy? Not smart. Expect that to be backtracked and retracted. Jenny is apparently getting her own New Age TV show platform, as mentioned.

Its gotta be the same person who designed the Byron Katie "BROKEN HEART" logo, with Byron Katie in the center. (see near the bottom of the post).
It is a BROKEN HEART, wrapped around the word KATIE, with the word KATIE driving right into the center of that broken heart. The broken heart is FUSED with the word KATIE.
That is Byron Katie's entire program in one single image. The broken emotional heart of "the people" FUSED, dependent on, and in orbit around Katie
