I'm wondering if there's anything that would be successful about dealing with and stopping the 3ho, and their businesses like their peace cereals, yogi teas, and wahe-guru granolas. they are making mockeries of a real religion, and turnng things into a very evil mess. this needs to be handled on a large scale because they are affecting not only westerners but also indians and asians as

hi worried friend. there's a lengthy dicussion going on in this thread - . please take some time to look at it. if she's just STARTING in the group....you can help her by trying to help her direct her energies on other things, and subtly help her see that these people are a bit crazy. if she's really far into it, then it's incredibly tough. the best thing you can do is to e

Cochse, please read through this thread - . there are many former 2ho who you should contact to talk to your friend. and one of the major sikh newspapers - panthic org reported on the head of gurdwaras gong to visit these people, and how angry they were. these people have been craftily brainwashing people for about 40 years. please do not let them make you gullible and pray to their whims. try to

Ok...i have to ask a few questions about this guy. he's definately cracked...but why would he go by the name mohan singh? he claims he's some tibetan lama or something but he takes a name that is not tibetan. mohan singh is a sikh name, though there are some hindus who have the name singh..usually in gujurat i think. im going to take a stab and guess that this guy is some crazy white gu

earlier ths year went to a food festival headed by the local india association. they had these people who seemed a little wonked out of their heads handing out pamphlets for this - it sure seemed cult like to me. not incredibly freaky cult like, but just enough to make me say hmmmmmmm....don't take these people as seriously as they take themselves. any thoughts?

swami ramdev is very popular in india. though he does tend to tick off what seems to be cult lke sensors for people, he's not nearly as bad as many other cult types. there are reports in india that he's helped cure cancer and stuff, though i must confess that i doubt it. however, he does have strict respect for his culture and has been famed for this. so, my advice on him is if you like

you really have to worry when your yoga teachers dress like this - or or any other westerner who tries to act like this......the whole westerners wearing indian dress, spouting what seems to be spiritual drivvel, etc. should be a tip off. these people have booked a ticket out of reality.

hi....i can help clear up some mystery for you on the 3ho related stuff. first off, ghee is actually clarified butter, and is widely used across india by all religions. it's not always organic, in fact most commercial brands as far as i know don't claim to be organic at all. there are some sikhs who are vegitarian, but as far as i know, there is no real genuine sect that calls for you t

Another thing that is very odd indeed is the handful of westerners who try claim they are 'pro - Khalistan', but have interesting tie to the opposite side of the coin - For instance, this one - She is a white woman married to a black guy. now, that would be all well and good if it wasn't for the fact that she is trying to pass both he and herself off as punjabi sikhs. Also,

also, i have a nice lengthy list of 3ho related crap. some of it was previously posted, some of it r from other parts of rick's site, but here, have a look - 3 H O Sikhs - most visible by their white outfits, and go by various prefixes like Shri, Hari, Aum/Om, Guru Deva ( often combining Hindu and Punjabi names out of ignorance) etc; often with names such as Amrit, Snatam, etc. (Though i

Sunny, it's sad to hear that you were kicked off all of these sikh forums that concerned the 3ho. they praise anyone who praises them, and try to create trouble for anyone who doesn't. it's a one sided gam
