In light of the previous two quotes from David McKay he has audacity to throw out a challenge. Now we challenge anyone to show us someone who is more serious about teaching people to obey Jesus than we are... Dave. Dave, the list would be too long.

Another inspiring quote from David McKay There is no contradiction between me talking about killing someone to save someone else's life, and other members saying that they would strongly question any interpretation of the teachings of Jesus that said we should kill our enemies rather than love and forgive them. QuoteMalcolm Wesley WREST QuoteThe policy decisions to offer a 'trial week" for those interested in joining, welcoming the visits of parents and encouraging the formation of a wider support group of non-members are all changes that have taken place since I left and I think represent a (subliminal??) desire to "normalize" relations. I think you are mistaking his chameleon t

QuoteIt's coming, Friends, and we need to see it as an inseparable part of our decision to follow Christ. In the end, he said that he would cause divisions between us and everyone else who is in opposition to him. In these dark days, that is going to include almost everyone. But we can rejoice, "for so persecuted the prophets which were before you," and we can rejoice because "

QuoteJack Oskar LarmThanks Apostate, Some truly shocking stuff happening at JC HQ. It's amazing how sick a forum can become when it's run by genuinely sick, sick people. I can only spend a few minutes reading their stuff before I have to turn away in disgust. Dave McKay has a habit of naming people. Why doesn't he name 'X'? I suspect Dave likes (loves) to intimid

Zueszor. I only asked that you stop the rhetoric which referred to violence being visited on Dave. That was my concern. It can be seen from his comments above that he easily twists such comments. But if you want to continue making such comments you need to know that I do not support you in them.

Dave wants to tell us some "truth" about how bad ex members are... "the ex-members and Rick Ross have conspired together to distort something that was said on this thread about sexual immorality in an attempt to reach a conclusion that I should not only be executed, but that I should be tortured prior to the execution (because execution in itself is too good for me, they say)

Quotecultmalleushmmmm, concerning stuff QuoteBut a better example is paedophilia. Kids are not FORCED to have sex, and yet society says it is wrong. I know, I know, they are not adults. I thought it might be good to share some things about my life, post JC community. Since leaving the influence of the Jesus Christian community I have rediscovered my humanity, and I am so glad about that. I had allowed myself to become quite hard-headed and self-righteous because I thought I had found the "truth" in the perverted teachings of Jesus as relayed by the groups annointed

By the way Jinnythesqinny did you post here under the name of "Anaglypta"? It is interesting that Jinny can say "Other people's hurt feelings aren't something I'm privy to either" seeing as this thread came into existance because of people expressing some of the hurt they experienced at David McKay's hands. Jinny says: "I know that most of my own hurt feelings are more down to my reaction to things rather than the things themselves.

Dave’s McKay’s swan song! I paste it below with my thoughts in bold letters interspersed throughout the article. Persecution and the Cross We've said a fair bit in the past about persecution, and about our need to be willing to endure it. Just as happened to Jesus, there were people who tried to say that we were paranoid, that we were imagining things. At times we were just speaking th

Quotematilda (It is good to see that the heated rhetoric of the last week has subsided ) I agree. In fact I think it would be good to let the JC's alone now as far as posting stuff on their forum, because Dave is using it all to solidify in his followers minds that he is being persecuted, causing them to rally around him. Although questions hardly rate as persecution. The JC&#

If this is an example of how Dave speaks of his own brother and mother on a public forum, what can his followers, children or grand-children expect? Thanks to ever added it to the forum, if it was anybody from here. It helps to give the Quakers on that forum a more rounded picture of the group. It seems they are not too happy with the idea of his group whipping people. It is a testament to Dave's lack of critical thinking skills that he thinks they would come to agree with him.
