KBOY that is the truth there, it is amazing to me what goes on in some so called "traditional" churches. Also, it is amazing how good some of these churches are out here. For some unknown reason I hooked up with a church in Kentucky and I don't even remember the name of it the first night I was out of the hospital, and I contacted them and they have intercessors there at that chu

I just ordered this book too and I ordered the book that Mr. Ross wrote as well. I was hoping that there would be some books come out from more of the people that were in the Walk. One thing about it, although the Walk, to me is THE CLASSICAL example of the struggles churches face, the pitfalls, the hazards, the mistakes that ministers can make, really the attacks that Satan pulls off on people t

I know that we focus mostly on the Living Word Fellowship, that is the church that we know turned bad at some point. But I am considering taking a different approach as I look at the Walk and as well as lots of churches that are not listed in these forums, that really should be. This is a principle of Jesus Christ that happens to be recorded in the book that some have decided that is not valid.

I guess I get too wound up in things at times. I don’t like to see good people taken advantage of, and that is exactly what is happening when some con artist makes people believe that he or she is so necessary for them to maintain a relationship with God that they deserve to live like rock stars of good people’s sacrificial giving. I guess it would behoove me to remember that I am no prince my

another mess up, I am sorry, I am having trouble getting my thoughts lined up right. in the last post, (I promise I am gonna start proof reading before I post) I said ALL of us have endured harsh punishment we brought on ourselves, I means to say MANY of us, With me I have regrets that I brought on myself. For one I believe I did not help someone at a time that would have been pivota

One thing i want to add to what i said. When I said "idolatry is never winked at, there is always harsh punishment for that," think about it, all of us have endured years of harsh punishment, we brought it on ourselves. Many people in the Living Word Fellowship have lived long enough to finally get booted out of the Walk and have their children shun them, and remember back when they sh

Perhaps the biggest problem with the Living Word crew, NOT becoming the "Christ in the earth," or the "manifest sons of God," and I speak for my generation, and I think it applies to other generations, I think the biggest problem is we considered ourselves "SONS OF JOHN," and then later, they considered themselves "SONS OF MARILYN," and then for a while it

Lily Rose, good to see you again. Yea I like that link, I have watched that guy a lot, Fellowship of the Martyrs,. I read those qualifications he put down for the manifested sons of God, I don't think any of the Living Word crew, past or present, (*including the ole Apostle to the Dogs) would rate. I think the Living Worders would qualify as the INFESTATION of the Sons of God instead.

KBoy actually in this case, i am trying to find something in the bible that backs up the manifest sons of God doctrine, since the bible is the book that JRS and all of the Latter Rain adherents claim that the bible is their source. ' First of all, there is something else that I didn't mention, Joel's army, the book of Joel, and the New Apostlolic Reformation guys point to that

For the most part, good exegesis is dependent on much more than one or two verses in one book of the bible. I am trying to find anything on the manifestation of the sons of God, and barring that, trying to find out how they milked that couple of verses in Romans 8 and got this bucket full of info, so that they can have at least two distinct versions with a much info on both. I am wondering if

Hargrave has probably had ownership of people's homes and cars and bank accounts, there are no doubt people in the Walk right now that have no idea what all their wives or husbands have given to Marilyn, I believe God is going to blow the top off this thing pretty soon and it aint gonna be pretty. That is the only thing that is going to wake some of these people up. I hope the final shoe wi

So they said that John brought Satan down? I thought sometime before John died they sent out the word for US SHEPHERDS to bring him down??? If we didn't do it, then why did we go to all that trouble and fast from food for 3 hours and keep it down to one six pack and a bowl for the whole night? changedagain Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > "Sa

I have read some of the posts lately, some of them pointing out how Gary Hargraves ideas seem to be a 100% reversal of the way that John Robert Stevens looked at things. I wonder really if that may have been the case all along. The whole time that I used to listen to this guy on the tapes, the loudest one of all saying "YES THAT'S RIGHT" over and over again, I wonder if he was lo

Thank you all for your prayers. I have not heard any more tonight, it could be that my step son and wife have gone home to get some rest. They have really been run ragged going way across town every day and staying late at the hospital so I am not going to call them. I know that if there were anything wrong they would get in touch so I can rest easy tonight. All of you have been available

Since my wife has been sick, and since she knows so many people in so many churches, having played the piano in so many of the praise teams and all, I have talked with lots of pastors, and i am discovering that my attitude toward them was quite a bit off, really. Thank all of you. I had thought of just going ahead and posting on the forum, but I didn't know if there was a rule about seeking prayer on it. I will fill you guys in that my wife does have stage 4 cancer. She didn't want to see a doctor, I think partly because of the way she was conditioned in a church where the pastor did not believe in doctors (typically, he didn't believe in

Just a side note to the previous post where I was complaining about that preacher not answering my calls to contact my wife. I got a strong urge today, i believe from God, to call that church one more time, this time I got that preacher's wife, and she got mad when she heard that he had ignored my wife. Long story short, my son called me and said that he did call my wife and my wife felt b

I won't get too much into personal stuff here, but i just had to deal with my wife's pastor, I felt like she would feel better if they did at least call the hospital and just to let her know that they realize she exists, and they know about her condition. I was in the hospital myself in another hospital when I strated leaving emails and voice mails at this guy's church. In short, i

i don't know anything about this guy Nichols, but i too think that he captured everything pretty good. I wonder if he was in any way associated with the Walk or had anything to do with it. Anybody know much about this guy? I did not ever know JRS personally at all. To me he was just a voice in a box, but still, I do know a little about him, from what I have heard and read and etc... b

Yea, I just really didn't like that guy, Yoko's ex. For one thing, when you think about it, no matter what JRS was about or not about, he helped that guy out when he was in a mess. There is nothing that JRS was going to get out of that, except possibly into a lot of trouble. I just think there was something slimy about that dude. Vain Glory was not all that good. One of the things that was weird to me about that, was this dude saying that John Stevens ordered pastors to sleep with women in the church. That is a bunch of crap. Some of it was OK some of it was hype. Also to me if this was supposed to be about a cult, then they left off the most culty part, where the demonic duo took over.

KD87 one thing too about that link, on my screen it always for some reason shows up on the bottom left of the screen, only thing that does that, but it is there, so look there at the bottom corner of your screen if you don't see it where you usually see things. It is certainly worth reading. paleface Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > kd87 > >

The thing that has always been crazy in the Living Word Fellowship, and has proven out over and over again in my search within Christianity, that the PEOPLE, the ones without a title, without a salary and huge car and house, the "little people" in the church are ALWAYS, so far at least in my quest, ALWAYS the ones with the integrity. I have been involved regularly with four churches for

The thing that fascinates me, but it would be news to people that only listen to Gary Hargrave, but their "current word" has been out there for fifty years in the real world, some of it tried and thrown out when found to be useless. I noticed about a month ago that the Living Word Fellowship was bragging about how they were "breaking into" healings occuring in their midst..

One thing is sure, people do reap what they sow. That is unless the lesson is learned and there is repentance. I don't know if Gary Hargrave believes in God, I know, I mean I KNOW that one of the most famous and richest of the television preachers don't believe in God. He invented his character in college. So it is a fact that all professional religionists don't believe they a
