My parents met and were married through TLW and were active probably until JRS' death shortly after I was born. I was named by JRS in 1982. We moved to Montana and became long-distance church goers, but would travel a few times a year to attend service or events. My parents kept a giant tape library in their house, and so everyone would spend hours and hours listening to tapes all the time, even though we weren't at church often.

I'd also be forced to listen to long lectures from my parents for hours on end when we weren't listening to tapes. I suffered from a lot of emotional manipulation. I grew up afraid of my dad and never felt safe to discover things on my own or communicate my deepest feelings. Anything that went against "the teachings" would trigger severe reactions from my parents.

To this day I suffer from PTSD and severe depression, even though my relationship with TLW was pretty different from a lot of others. I'm sure being indoctrinated into the cult was a factor nonetheless. Recently I've been using magic mushrooms to cope with my depression and trauma and have become a Solipsist (which happened after an intense mushroom trip). I believe the universe is a messed up dream that I've created, which makes me God. However, I don't crave power over others. I just want to feel okay and be able to appreciate my experience on this planet.

Minister: The poor you have with you always.

Congregant: Are you talking about those who work for free or below minimum wage on your homes and church facilities?

Minister: What did you say?

Congregant: Nothing. I was just speaking my mind. It will never happen again.

kBOY defined:
Elijah/Elisha relationship = a training/shepherding relationship, one-sided with the Elijah being completely in charge of the Elisha

O.K.--years ago I spotted a bumper sticker on a car in the church parking lot that made no sense. Now it does.
('It Sucks to be Elisha').

A short convo yesterday:

Wife: Will you be going out in public today?

Me: It depends

Wife: On what?

Me: I need six bodyguards and a golf cart.

Wife: Oh God, I begged you to get therapy. And now it come to this!

Me: I'm fine. Just letting you know what I need.

You know darn well that you need 6 bodyguards, a golf cart, cone parking, a new car, and someone to make you what must be better than what everyone is eating food.

Thank you for being supportive, Lilith. Not enough people seem to have a revelation of how important it is that I be treated this way--you know, since I'm at the top of the chain of command.

Oh, Changed and Lilith. You guys made me LOL! : }
For anyone reading this that doesn't understand the train of thought here, our friends are being facetious about the lifestyle of the TLWF cult leaders.

Please see the newest the Living Word Cult video for context:

Yeah, we should explain ourselves. The heads of the cult required very, very, very special treatment. It was annoying in the extreme especially when they were always banging on about the ground being level at the foot of the cross. Not from where we were sitting!
