Yep

How would the people know they are loved without first being beaten?
Glad it is not my life.

Easter Egg Hunt in the spirit of TLWF:
Top ministries pretend to hide eggs. There really are no eggs--it's all a cruel sham. Eager, enthusiastic kids search in vain for eggs, eventually all coming back with empty baskets. They are then gathered together and solemnly informed that the Easter Bunny is very disappointed with them, and is so frustrated they should be worried about the possibility of ever being invited to another hunt.
(sorry for this downer post on what should be a joyous day)

The kids would also be told that the Easter bunny couldn't come because they hadn't created a pure enough atmosphere for Him. They would be told they needed to give their spirits to the Easter bunny and keep repenting until they had a revelation of Him. They need to repent until they break in their spirits.

Only the poor in spirit with have full Easter baskets.

And then marshmallows began to fall from the sky. And a voice from a helicopter said, "Don't eat the ones that fall on the ground." But the children couldn't hear him. And many children got sick and never recovered or joined in another Easter egg hunt.

I remember Easter at Shiloh hearing my name shouted on PA system to report for kitchen duty. Spent the previous day hooking beans. "Gary" reminds me of Gary Coleman from Different Strokes. A little man.

It would have been amusing if someone shouted a ministries' name on the PA system to report for kitchen duty, knowing full well they would never stoop to such menial labor. A definite one-way ticket to Shunnedville for this rebel.
