I'm sorry, but my intention was not to offend anyone. I was saying lots of people would not say anything bad about John no matter what. My mom would but my dad wouldn't, at least not openly. I have family members that blamed Marilyn for what happened to John, and I know people who said he was more compassionate afterwards.
For the most part I think all or at least most of the marriage breakups were a bad thing. I wasn't a big fan of people being booted out or shunned so that eventually they left. I wasn't a big fan of the churches being sold to save other churches. From my perspective the Valley church will be next, but who knows, maybe they will sell another to prolong it's demise.
I know there are still people who still attend that are very sweet people. That is why I wouldn't want that to happen.
