Truth, facts, logic, that which is “self-evident” and the leading of the Holy Spirit were all the same to me. I never could “get” revelation validating the absurd. I guess that’s why I didn’t qualify as a “minister” or gain any prominence among the pillars in the church.
Yes, they have been doing it for 30 years. Rick Holbrook's pet project. It is a big deal. They make their own parade. The local TV news usually covers it. It is unclear how it is funded. Probably the same funding as the haunted house they do each year. Rick and his crew do a real pro job on both of these events. It is mostly staffed by the people that work at the LW building in N. Hollywood. This crew is extremely dedicated to Rick.
I did some research yesterday, and came across this detailed description of Frosty the Snowman (FTS) in a This Week: "Frosty the Snowman was a jolly happy soul with a corncob pipe and a button nose and two eyes made out of coal." --'Melting in His Presence' by John Robert Stevens.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I'm thankful this discussion group exists, and although we have our disagreements, not one of us...to my knowledge...has prayed for the death of another. That's progress. Have a good one!

------------------------------------------------------ Is this the event where they bring out the golden calf? Wasn't the celebration of Christmas verboten under JRS?

Now that's a gratitude that makes sense. Ditto. (Anyone have indigestion?)
