This brings me to another observation that I have seen in the Radiant Life church and we are seeing it mirrored at turning Point Church.
Call it “Esoteric Christianity” or what we know to be Tony's inner circle as many people have observed here in this blog.

I challenge you to evaluate this next statement.

To believe you are an esoteric, is to believe that you are on the inside of something and everyone else, is on the outside of it.
The idea of making something purposely complex or creating a pseudo-culture for the purpose of alienating others is what the pseudo-intellectual esoteric does.

They create an environment of the haves and have-nots. They separate into two classes, those who are spiritually enlightened and others who have not arrived to such deeper spiritual meanings and understanding. They create new programs and seminars to offer their supposed spiritual enlightenment to the one who are struggling along because some how they just can't obtain it. Of course they offer it for a small $fee$.
I know it lines up with classic modern day Liberalism.....and the more you look into it the more similarities you will see.

Some things are naturally esoteric take brain surgery. Not every has a working understanding of brain surgery or can perform brain surgery. So the person who was studied the practice of brain surgery is naturally esoteric.

Now relate that to historic Christianity, did Jesus create an esoteric attitude or pseudo-culture?
While much like the brain surgeon, I believe we can agree that Jesus was on the inside with his relationship with his heavily father, God.
But did he run around in an esoteric manner, looking down on people, because they were on the outside with God. NO!

In fact His life was to bridge that gap, to be the way to the father!

Wow I am really saddened after checking out that link for reflect "church." I'm sorry I know most of you all disagree with me the institutional churches are not biblical that the church is the people of God a living breathing organism that one cannot go to church you all all who are in Christ simply are the church. That whatever those who are in Christ are the Church is and whatever we are doing is the Church doing it. As for me I can think of hundreds of better ways to invest money in the building of the Church then on buildings and equipment. An organization cannot be a church, because it is the people who are the Church the biblical Church "building" if you will is the living breathing Body of Christ.

Thank you Braveheart for posting the bylaws like you have. When you compare you can easily see the changes. Two overall themes seem to come through. First that an "overseer" was added to the new bylaws. Very in line with many other cult groups. Secondly the private and public accusations that the previous elders did things illegally in reference to the bylaws is simply preposterous. They obviously tried to follow the bylaws via the powers and responsibility given to them by the bylaws. Why, why, why do the current RLC elders and leadership continue to use the pulpit to blatantly lie, slander and quick frankly stand in the place of the accuser (Satan himself). The previous elders Jesse, Matt and Ken specifically tried to follow the bylaws. They even tried to hire an attorney to guide the board of elders in their endevours. The elders that are left at RLC would not let them. Yet Roland Pang, Tony and others are running around telling people that these men of long standing proven character did things illegally. If they were done so illegally why have they not been charged or challenged criminally or civilly. I will tell you why, because they did nothing wrong. Brother I dearly love you however the statement above stated about public employees of which I am one is simply untrue. I personally have run more then one business in my life. I have owned more then one both one and offline businesses. I am currently staring another Internet Marketing business, because I a responsible. Matter of fact for the past two months since our Governor cut 10% percent of my and all state of California Employees pay by 2 day per month furloughs without pay I have had to continue I have had to do the same work load as I previously did and have had additional work I never did before added to my plate as well. That 10% pay cut has placed me in the position of having to sell things that I have used to spend time with my son just to be able to pay bills and put food on the table. None of this is a complaint I'm actually believe me or not thankful as it has real be working on my own personal materialism.

However now after working having to do more work with less hours to do it in I have to come home at night to work more on establishing my new online business which takes away from time I could be investing in my son and daughter.

This attitude regarding State Government employees is by and large a myth matter of fact at least in my unit I can proudly say of the team I lead that we work harder then the average person in or out of state government for less damn pay then most people even before the loss of 10% percent of our monthly income and 2 day more to get our work accomplished.

Radiant Life operates on a false premise that the assumed authority is something to behold! These wacko guys like Dan Flory, Greg S. & Greg H, Joel & Rolland are a bunch of yes boys!!! They live more in fear that there wives are more loyal to Tony in there emotional spiritual affairs. If these supposed elders are not singing the praises of Tony they will be cut off from any affection and love from there wife.
This is not theory or hypothesis but this is my observation of how they operate!!!!

I can understand your hypersensitivity, but at the same time you have to be honest here....Public workers get a bad rap because of the Socialist Pinko Liberal tendency that they govern and manage with. This causes or creates a poor working environment where productivity is measured by how many people are standing in line, waiting for service, not by how many people were served and no longer need service.
Many (NOT ALL) employees become apathetic and lazy. I am sure you could share your own story's.

It's to bad that for the few honest hard working the are others who are making the job difficult starting with how our government has abandoned our foundational purpose mainly our constitution. The States are Sovereign but fail every day to operate in that manor. We have politicians representing our great state of CA and they are spending money like that will fix the problem. Irresponsibility!! They refuse to be independently responsible to the constituents in the state but rather rule with an agenda misusing there authority and position of power all in an effort to control people. Freedoms and liberties are stolen away just like we see in the church!

Tom, I’ve always known you to be a really nice guy but to say that the idea of someone starting a church sickens you seems a little harsh. I understand your position and in many ways I agree with you. Christ did not come to establish a building but a body of believers. However, Christ also uses many things to reach the people he loves – including having someone start a church to give people a place to gather. Neither you nor I are privy to conversations between Christ and Timothy Stewart regarding this church so there should not be any judgments made. If God can use a donkey to get His point across, then I am sure a building where His word can be taught can be just as useful. After all, “church” is our heart motive and should be practiced wherever we are, in whatever we are doing.

The recent events at Radiant Life are resulting in more people having their eyes opened to the fact that there is something wrong. Take yesterday for example. Timothy Stewart’s last day at, and as a part of RLC was yesterday – AND NOTHING WAS DONE, NOTHING WAS SAID – even though this man has sacrificed his finances and almost lost his family to remain a part of it. None of us have the right to question his heart motive in staying - he was following Christ’s leading and not his own feelings. He has been shunned and rejected by those in leadership at RLC ever since he took a quiet stand during the 2nd business meeting against the wrong information being spouted. You could see in his face that it wasn’t easy for him to be the only staff member standing against the lies and misinformation that was being poured on the congregation.

Rather than saying anything about Timothy’s service over the years, those in leadership took a special offering – for Tony – who is currently on an extended vacation with his family. They reminded the congregation that Tony is experiencing a difficult time and that he needs to be honored. If you were someone in leadership, and those under you needed to be reminded to ‘honor’ you, would it really mean anything? Earned honor is much better than demanded honor.

I used to respect some of the people that remain at RLC and considered them smart. But to have all this happen before your eyes and still be in denial just makes them stupid. At this point, they deserve the consequences of their choices even though it saddens me to think of what those might be.
