I just made a real observation.
I went to the postings of other churches on this site.
I see some similarities.
I wonder if these things are the warning signs of a cult.
1. A form of controling the people. This varies for church to church.
(With RLC is't Spiritual Parenting and Discipleship and SOMA. personally discipleship RLC's way was the only thing I got involved in and when I quite I was aproached like note 4)
2. Not open about finances. (EX: where the money goes. How much the pastor gets payed.)
3. A focus on the leadership or leader rather than God.
4. Excluding some members of the church from being involved in spiritual matters of others.
(ex: RLC only let the Elders pray for people and prophecy. If you were a regular attender but were not involved in the three things above, see note 1, they accually told you to stop or said to take it outside. I know of one person they told to pray for people in the back and not at the alter. Greg Huth, the alter is where everyone was going that needed prayer, so why would you tell them to go to the back of the church.)
What do you think out there?

FYI.........I do not know anything about this property or have any professional opinion. I am just posting this unverified info in case it rings a bell with anyone. It definately could be nothing or the pieces will fall together later.

On a night such as this we are encouraged to put on a mask and be somebody else. But I want to say something on the contrary. Thank you to all who have taken off your mask and become who God has made you to be...a real person. May God continue to give us the strength to comfort, love and help eachother as we all play our different roles in this wonderful new expierience we are all going through.
