"I believe this forum is first and foremost about Jagad Guru Chris Butler and the Science of Identity."
So are you saying that all the political activity of Jagad Guru Chris Butler and his devotees and Science of Identity Foundation cult, over the past 37 plus years (since 1975 or before) is not an important part of the story and saga of Jagad Guru Chris Butler and his cult?
What about the successful election of five of Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa's (Chris Butler's) devotees over this period of time: Rick Reed as Hawaii State Senator, Wayne Nishiki as Maui City Councilman, Carol Gabbard as member of the Hawaii Board of Education, Mike Gabbard as Honolulu City Councilman and later Hawaii State Senator, Tulsi Gabbard as Hawaii State Representative and later Hawaii City Councilwoman, are these not important and significant accomplishments of Jagad Guru Chris Butler and his cult? Part of the story?
What about the alleged participation of Jagad Guru Chris Butler and his devotees in several major political scandals here in Hawaii: The attempt to smear Cec Heftel and the attempt to smear U.S. Senator Dan Inouye?
Are you arguing that because it is difficult to prove Jagad Guru Chris Butler's connections to and involvement with and influence over all these devotees of his who have held office and are currently running for higher office, that we should stop trying to get the information about it out? Arguing that we should stop trying to find Jagad Guru's influences and connections and stop trying to explain those influences and connections? Stop trying to get the word out about those connections to political candidates and politicians?
Are you arguing that because the news media haven't done their job in exposing this background and influence that everyone should just give up?
You can give up if you want. That is your decision for you to make for yourself.
We need to develop a compelling and understandable narrative about Jagad Guru Chris Butler and his Science of Identity Foundation cult and all their political tenticles. We have to back everything up with irrefutable evidence. We will have to go over and distill material from this forum and elsewhere.
We have to try and make the whole story and all the implications understandable to someone with an eighth grade education. Maybe a sixth grade education.
Clearly some of the evidence and information that we already have is being ignored.
If Tulsi loses, we have to realize that Jagad Guru Chris Butler is still ambitious and he will try to get a Gabbard or some other devotee to run for political office. (One person who may be connected to Jagad Guru and the cult is Kai Nishiki, daughter of former Maui City Councilman Wayne Nishiki. Wayne Nishiki was the owner of one of the little markets that became the first Down to Earth stores. Kai Nishiki has run, so far unsuccessfully, for the Maui City Council. Here is
Kai Nishiki's Website from a 2010 run for Maui City Council). Sooner or later Mike Gabbard may try to run for higher office. We have to be ready and we have to continue whether Tulsi loses or not.
If Tulsi wins, we must try to interest national news media.
We need to look over all the campaign finance reports that we have, including the ones for Mike Gabbard, with a fine-tooth comb.
And over the next couple of years we might have a lucky break. We could really use a break. Maybe an investigative reporter will take an interest. Maybe a high level devotee will decide to leave with some documentation.
I think we all know that there IS a story here.
