Thanks for the update, Sahara71. I don't do Facebook, so I wouldn't have heard all this otherwise.

Tony Moo is clearly a very damaged person. As you probably know, his mother moved to another country without him when he was one year old. Sadly, his guru gig puts him in a position to act out his traumas. He can use other people to meet his unhealed cravings.

A wise therapist once said: "What people want is to feel better." That's what draws people to spiritual teachers, personal growth grifters, and the like -- the promise that they might one day feel better.

But it's a bait-and-switch. The guru speaks with supreme confidence, but no one ever seems to reach the promised land. They're like donkeys following a carrot they can never arrive at.

Another comment today from the same Facebook page - this time from a woman who uses the name "Sumati," which I assume is a spiritual name:

"Krishnabai was not the only woman he cheated on Radha with. A friend of mine was another one. Pretty sure there are many more."

Another comment from the Facebook group "Mooji Exposed - Hidden Aspects Behind the Satsungs" This time the comment is from 'Sebastian'.

"...I was there in these "Satsangs" in Rishikesh. Came for them. Attended each and every one of them until somebody I met there had a breakdown live on stage in front of Mooji. Everything that happened from that moment on and how much the whole team's priority was about protecting Mooji's image instead of being there for somebody who urgently needed help showed me that this has nothing to do with truth. I will spare you the details...but yeah, it was a great eye opener. And just few months later Be Scofield release an article on the whole cult which clarified everything. I felt much further."

I for one, would love to learn more details! We've heard about this kind of thing before. Someone vulnerable joins the Moo following, listens to the trance-like, unintelligible, neo-hogwash teachings and suffers a psychiatric episode/psychotic break.

What happens next? Often the person is far from home, doesn't have travel insurance for medical care and wouldn't be able to access care without help anyway.
