Great to see that stuff on Narcissistic personality disorder, I hope more of his followers read up on that to understand what he really is.

Also, I think he's definitely entered a new phase. It's spelled out rather nicely here:

From the Guru Papers:

"When the popularity and power of the group plateaus and then begins to wane...the apocalyptic phase enters and the party is over..."

It's clear now that his lawyers threats have no teeth... Indeed, the threats are backfiring on him! People should not be the least intimidated by him.
We're holding all the power.

Hello
First time on here.
Regarding the rasta identity:
This video from the eighties shows M with a completely different accent and look.
Not sure if non English viewers will notice but he sounds very English here and no Jamaican accent at all.
Is the Rasta image one he aquired later on? Is this aspect authentic?
I understand he left jamaica aged ten.
Just an observation.
1min 33seconds in.

He has been through some terribly tough times though I must admit.
The shooting of his sister started some terriblt rioting and he acted as a peacemaker I belive in the community.

Yes, that is right to the point!

As others have mentioned: there would be a lot to discover if authority would dig into the saftey questions, which were raised here.

Regarding Jamaica: do not forget the Obeah = Jamaican folk religion/voodoo. M. seems to have knowledge about it and people close to him.

M is a mix of lots of things, a bit from here, a bit from there. Just what is convinient for him, he uses it all (christianity, advaita, indian culture, trance techniques, energy maipulation, obeah, rasta, buddhism, and so forth).

Hi everyone,

I’ve been reading this thread for awhile now. I want to share a video that might help people who have been with Mooji understand their own experience. It focuses on the devotee instead of him. He gets a thrill off of this thread, by the way. Narcissists do love all press, negative as well. It shows you can’t stop thinking of him. That he’s got you too. It’s very sick. He also uses his trauma to manipulate people’s hearts here at Sahaja. It’s a tool to stir compassion and compliance and protection. He doesn’t mind the fighting and mean words from his followers attacking others. He revels in it. He will say he doesn’t. These are the games he plays because he can’t actually connect with people. After a bit people bore him. He says it so as to keep people wanting to entertain him. It’s very scary when someone with NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disprder) feels cornered. Maybe not for you but it increases the pressure and danger for all of those near him.

Here is what we go through. Can you relate?

[youtu.be]

Thank you for this thread. I’m not afraid of Mooji. Hiding my identity is strategic.
He has no idea that I know what he’s doing. That’s the only way to get away from him. I’m going to find my way out. I will post all I know then. When I am safe.

Trauma bonding

This one is also very good.

Outsiders need to get this just as much as we do. Mooji is more volatile lately.

Mooji knows what he is doing is wrong. How to tell?

He knows not to act the way he does here at retreats. He is very different there. He is selling there. Here he doesn’t have to anymore. He has us.

So we see a different Mooji. The closer you get the more you see. This is how to know he’s manipulating. If he didn’t know he’d act the way he does here at retreats.

It’s on purpose and he does NOT care. It’s a game.

Hi Not-afraidofMooji, good luck and best wishes for you to get out! The youtube link is interesting, I do not have time now to watch it all. You say M gets a thrill out of this thread. From what I have seen I dont believe that. He is VERY easily offended by the slightest critics. But it is true, he still gets ATTENTION and it feeds into his energy pool (where attention goes, energy flows).
