I find this is a very serious topic most don’t question.
Are all the safety requirements met for residents and visitors? in this “most holy place”-as per M

Sad another video is getting shut down, but it certainly had a big impact and will not be forgotten.
People will keep on researching and questioning, this is for sure!
They will not be able to keep up with silencing everyone and cleaning up the internet at their own desires.
When one gets silenced another two will speak up!
Life is working on bringing forth the truth!

Safety questions:

Are kitchen workers taught sanitary precautions, supplied with hot water and
foaming soap for handwashing, and ample supplies of disposable gloves?

Does the kitchen manager/s have training in food handling protocol? Does he or she know to tell workers to wear hair nets, no bracelets, watches no rings, no danging earrings, and to wear aprons?

Are persons doing seva work given protective equipment, such as googles,
gloves, told to wear closed to shoes, taught proper lifting technique?

Are there precautions against dehydration, such as reminders to drink water through the day and sufficient supplies of clean water? This means purchasing ample supplies of bottled water if plumbing is inadequate.

Additional safety precautions

People come to Monte Sahaja from all over the world. Diseases travel as fast as we do.

Does the management at Monte Sahaja take care to require proof that residents have proof that they:

Test negative for TB or have a note from a licensed physician that if
diagnosed with TB, the condition has been treated?

This is no joke. Multi drug resistant TB is a problem in the Russian Federation - TB is prevalent in India.

TB India

they
are up to date on their immunizations?

* Hepatitis A
* Measles (outbreaks of measles are occurring all over the world - Israel,
Philippines, USA)

* Whooping cough (adults can get it if immunizations not up to date. Years ago,
at my neighborhood Buddhist sangha, which was residential, many adults got WC.
Makes you ill for a long time.

* Tetanus
* Diptheria
* Chickenpox (Nasty for small kids, even worse for adults and potentially
dangerous for elders)

Let’s add following:

- is there sufficient light on the paths to offer safe passage?
- Are entrance and exits marked?
- Is the electrical equipment correctly fixed?
- Are those tested by an authorized person?
- Are the gas-bottles used for warm water in the showers, kitchen, etc. properly applied and inspected by an authorized person?
- Is there an evacuation plan in case of fire?
- Are there any fire alarms and have those been tested?
- Are exit doors effective enough for the capacity of people hosted in case of evacuation?
- Are fire drills performed?
- What are the measurements to ensure an bacteria-free environment?
- Do emergency cars have access?

—- one might not even dare to imagine what happens in case of emergency, if over 800 people are squeezed in an around a hall with a capacity of a quarter! With no lightning on the paths and you are supposed to used your own flashlight.
You are truly left at the mercy of God!

Handwashing after peeing and pooping at Sahaja?
Posted by: corboy ()

Another safety question:

Are there facilities for *thorough* hand washing after people have used the toilets/latrines?

Clean water and soap, or at least, alcohol gel hand wash sanitizer?

Can anyone supply information on this?

What is done to dispose of the contents of toilets and latrines?

Has a portable toilet company been hired to maintain and clean facilities at Monte Sahaja?

What is done to keep human waste from contaminating local water and soil?

Note: along with portable toilets, a a company can be hired to provide shower trucks. They do this for festivals and firefighting crews.

Just spend some money.

There are many compost toilets all over sahaja, many of them having a sink with water (not drinkable) and soap. Not all of them have a sink, but many.
The toilets are all compost toilets and the compost is being used somewhere on the land as compost. (This is my understanding)
On many toilets, on the back, you can spot a tube-drainage application running down the land somewhere, probably ending in a cistern. Many get this drainage applied when they are full.
I don’t know what safety measures are taken about the contamination issues.
There are no portable toilets or shower trucks.
Showers are located in some huts or outdoors. There are no shower-heads though, but you are allowed to take one bucket of water/day and “shower” using a big scoop.
During retreats there are no other crews hired, like firefighters or something. Only the own teams.
Maybe someone has additional informations.

I heard from a traditional Advaita Vedanta teacher that lately he's been getting emails from people asking for advice because they feel they have been led astray by Mooji. I'm glad to hear that people are waking up from the Mooji-spell, and finding their way to the original Vedanta teachings which have been bastardized by Mooji.

Thanks everyone for wishing me well. I’m going off here now.

Final thoughts-

Mooji has copyright on videos from Sahaja Express. Clearly people here help them find where people have downloaded illegally and they just request it taken down. So all the “good stuff” is on Sahaja Express. But someone has to pay and coordinate this all through emails not on the thread.

I don’t think this sweet older lady understands that Rick Archer rarely takes down videos. He certainly doesn’t need the heat and more than likely took a lot. He doesn’t take down videos from”disgruntled students”, “trolls” or a few people pretending to be a lot of people. I take him at his word. He does not endorse Mooji because he has learned from other teachers about things he has done. These teachers spoke from experiences with others. Real people. Obviously prior to the Be article.

The safety and non compliance of registering people gives some room for investigation but locals are fine with the money coming in from people coming to see Mooji. So it would take people in Lisbon or a big scandal that impacted that area to cause any investigations. He is very friendly with the local church that has a lot of power in that area.

Lastly. Anyone contacted by Mooji would be wise to make a video or a statement as look how Mooji has backed down from Henri doing this reading of what he got from the attorney. Now all that is asked by Mooji through his attorney is not to read what Mooji has sent Henri through his attorney. That’s a big clue as to how to handle Mooji. It takes a lot to do this. And maybe not everyone can. Mooji is probably banking on knowing this person, and knows this person won’t be able to. My guess.

With Henri, It’s not a copyright issue. It’s Mooji not wanting to hear a critic. That’s a very different story. I would advise that if you can’t stand up to Mooji and read or tell what Mooji has done to you as Amma Tanya has done. Then he won’t respect you and keep bullying you. He will see you as afraid, (I see it myself) of him and he will play on that. Mind games don’t work. Stand up to him or it’s just more noise and he’ll come again.
