A leopard never changes it's spots, Malcolm, and an old dog like Dave can't learn new tricks. The Jesus Christians cover these very topics (in terms of what animal in the Revelation represents what), in the below video which is called "Black Lives Matter, the UN, and the Leopard in Bible Prophecy". I'm not sure if they are trying to say that BLM represents the fulfillment of prophecy, or just what their point is, but here's the video and its description:

The Black Lives Matter movement exploded like never before in May 2020, when George Floyd was murdered by police in Minneapolis. In the following weeks, we started to consider the significance of this movement in relation to the animals in Bible prophecy (the book of Revelation and the book of Daniel). We have discussed these animals before on this channel (see links below), so please check out what we have said previously, after you consider the radically new perspective we're presenting here, in light of the BLM movement.

Thanks Whirlwind,

The ABSOLUTELY primary principle in McKay's 'end-time' ruminations is to disempower people....

.....that isto engender self-doubt (I have 'failed' to prepare for the end of the world....I lack McKay's 'insights'...)..

...and thus to persuade those psychologically vulnerable enough to entertain membership of his cult!

....McKay has NO testimony of Jesus Christ whatsoever....he only brandishes a 'testimony' of himself....what a sickened 'mind' he has!

The latest broadcast is McKay attempting to prostitute recent events in order to bring 'currency' to his bullshit....there is NO scriptural authority to it at all.....He is completely a FALSE prophet in every sense of the word..

I do not share a great relationship with Kevin...

....however the events of the split in 1998 speak highly of him. He stood up to his Father....

(David McKay was enraged....McKay frequently, in utter hypocrisy quotes Luke 17 : 21....

20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

...whenever he wishes to 'prove' that any existing institutional Church lacks scriptural authority..

While at the same time...ONLY the individuals that he manipulates within his cult constitute the 'Kingdom of Heaven'...in his selfishly demented perspective...membership of his organization IS the litmus test of sincerity of Christian faith...

...thus Kevin threatened David's dearest treasure....the cult that represents HIM...David's lifework...)

The fact that Kevin and the others who with him....'drew a line in the sand' with McKay...will always his to be his....and their credit.

Welcome, ImagoDei. I look forward to that also. I've followed Dave's group for many years, and am passionate about making the public aware of them because I think they are going to meet with a tragic end. Thank you for your interest. If there is anything I can do to help you in your research, then please do not hesitate to ask. If I may ask you a question: what forum was it you encountered them through, please?

Though I just discovered David McKay and the Jesus Christians about a little over a month ago, I too am passionate about making the public aware of them, especially those professing faith in Jesus Christ as I believe they preach a different gospel and are a stumbling block to other believers. Though there are some truths in the material that the Jesus Christians / A Voice in the Desert promote and some legitimate criticisms of modern Christianity, the spiritual danger is in the misinterpretation of verses and eisegesis in their teachings.

My first encounter with them was on Reddit. The user in question made a post stating to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ, it is mandatory for each and every believer to sell all their possessions as well as quit their job and stop working for a wage. This then lead to a discussion on David's interpretation of Luke 14:33 and Matthew 6:24 and eventually the doctrines / beliefs of the Jesus Christians and David McKay. When I would challenge or question their interpretation / teachings, I was told I was working very hard at finding every excuse to disobey the Son of God, was told I lacked faith and that I loved money, that I was rejecting the truths they were sharing, etc. It seems pointing out their inconsistencies within their own worldview as well as their hypocrisy as no effect on them. They seemingly have no issue with lying or being deceptive when spreading "the gospel".

Using the verses they regularly use to support their teachings, I was able to search the site and find a few other members participating in various subreddits. I've been engaging with a few of them and attempting to rebuke them with Scripture but they either ignore the points I raise or ignore me completely. I was told if I wanted to have an honest discussion to join their forums, which I intend to after I have completed my research, though from the interactions I've already had I do not believe it will be fruitful.

Yeah, well, while Kevin and the rest of the Friends of Dave stand around trying to find nice things to say about the man (lest they offend him, because don't you know we can't offend Dave), Dave will be busy preying upon a new crop of young souls whom he might suck dry and then cast aside. They'll be condescendingly talking about using "logic and reason" in order to communicate with Dave, as he has his people further mutilating their bodies (many of the men in Heaven's Gate were castrated, for example) and/or eventually "laying down their lives" for their cause. Then what will they say, Malcolm?

PS: Even if there is no "final exit" for Dave, some of his people may choose to "graduate" themselves, though. He'd be too much of a coward to "cross over" himself. He'd just watch them do it. Of course, there is the possibility that Dave may actually "exit" himself, too. Marshall Applewhite was not the first one of his group to have himself castrated, and his was not the first of Heaven's Gate to "exit". He let some of his people go first, just like how Dave was not the first Jesus Christians to donate a kidney.

Thank you 'Imagodei'

....'False dichotomies' (If you don't submit to the teachings of David McKay then you are a 'systemite' (Children of God terminology)....in rebellion to God)...is stock in trade to them....

On their websites...alternate views are filtered out...you would be vastly 'out-numbered' by a company of stooges all devoted to McKay (and to whom the teachings of Christ...long long ago became entirely secondary)....

What topic did you find them under, in 'Reddit', may I ask?

Here is a little 'question' that you might want to put towards the Jesus Christians... I would be interested in hearing the responses you might receive!

David has four children, (Kevin, Sherri, Gary and Christine)....Kevin, Sherri and Gary all have children.

What circumstances led to three of David's children deciding to leave the 'Kingdom of Heaven' (the JesusChristians) and become 'money lovers' 'lacking faith'....and why have absolutely NONE of David's grandchildren ever joined this 'God fearing' organization?

Thanks....

This is not comprehensive, but using the two verses I quoted above, I found 6 users who have started threads in the following subreddits:

Christianity, philosophy, conspiracy, ifyoulikeblank, socialism, Shit_To_Watch_Online, collapse, wokekids, AskAChristian, lostgeneration, AwakenedTV, awakened, DebateReligion, ShrugLifeSyndicate, DoesAnybodyElse, minimalism, spirituality, howtonotgiveafuck, totallynotrobots, Soulnexus, RadicalChristianity, conspiracy_commons, alltheleft, EndTimes, OrthodoxChristianity, Catholicism, religion, changemyview, PrayerTeam_amen, Thetruthishere, PhilosophyofReligion, CapitalismVSocialism, conspiracyundone, 1984isreality, unpopularopinion, aliens, Consumerism, agnostic, relationship_advice, theology, TheSolutions, ELINT, ChristianApologetics, CasualConversation, Economics, economy, Foodforthought, conspiracies, conspiracytheories, AnythingGoesNews, Anticonsumption, Anarchism, altnewz, Coronavirus, zen, communism101, DumpsterDiving, unknownvideos, todayilearned, CrazyIdeas, NoFap, NoFapChristians, DebateAChristian, China, AcademicBiblical, EndTimesProphecy,TopConspiracy, CommunismWorldwide, propaganda, teenagers, facepalm, funny, Futurology, Bible, Freethought.

It appears they each have 2-3 subreddits they regularly post in, then they make fringe posts in other subreddits. Their posts and comments get downvoted pretty often, so a lot of their posts get removed due to subreddit rules for having negative karma (Reddit "points"). The bulk of their activity seems to be on the Christian and conspiracy related subs.

When reaching out to persons involved in COG, perhaps another way would be to emphasize who stands to gain.

Jesus told the rich young man that to be perfect, he should give his possessions *to the poor* then follow Jesus. Jesus did not say give to me, he said give to the poor.

When COG say theyre real Christians, because they gave up their possessions, whom did they give to? The poor? Or the COG leadership?

Who stands to gain, financially?
