Thank you again 4generation for this clear and powerful post from December of 2019. Hope you are doing well. Posted by: 4generation Date: December 28, 2019 12:28AM Welcome Powertrip, so good to see another brazilian posting here. Unfortunately what you shared with us is not a surprise to me and only shows how deceived we have been for decades in this church. For me who was born int

the heyday of Shiloh (summer of 1979--400+ people living in building) storming Heaven attempting to give God a black eye If we knew when he took his naps, we could ambush him when his defenses are down. He's been around for a very long time, seen what mankind is capable of, so it stands to reason that he's a frequent napper. #PrayerWarriorStrategy

Post by Twoteetwo from October 2018 Posted by: Twoteetwo Date: October 17, 2018 06:57AM Onion, thank you for shining light into very dark corners. My husband and I began to think about leaving when Gary left Donna and baby, and married Marilyn. We thought it was so wrong, but reading the posts, things were worse than we imagined. We were such suckers. We finally left after attending a serv

Like all the violent intercession in the Walk/TLWF, it appears to have had the opposite effect. In fact, I think the best way to not have something happen, is to pray violently for it to happen...persistently "hitting God under the eye," and basically pissing him off.

Hope you're doing well, typer. From April of 2020 Posted by: typer Date: April 23, 2020 12:26PM I hear quite a few people are moving from San Diego to Arizona right now. I hope they are delivering themselves from the cult; and that San Diego diehards will finally go away and / or find healing from the toxic Julie Larson / Bruce Larson poison and other henchmen like Seebolt and the

Note to former self: When you are standing in a late-70's 'violent intercession' service, prayer warriors demanding that God fulfill his promises...and hear someone from the platform prophecy "WE'VE GOT YOU BY THE BALLS, GOD!!"--veins popping from his neck--perhaps that it is the time to seriously consider exiting the scene. To your credit, however, you restrained

I have a question. Whenever someone submitted something, especially during the G&M era, ministries would say they would "pray" about it or "wait on the Lord" about it. Did anyone actually observe this prayer and waiting on the Lord happen...ever? I suspect even God did not witness it. He too must take it by faith.

All the teachings about the necessity of not coming to conclusions based on the reasoning of the mind, but instead looking for a "revelation"...which conveniently only came through the route of obedience...made us easy to control. Attending five services a week (or so) over many years, coupled with a constant emphasis on providing 'volunteer' labor on behalf of church authori

Thank you for sharing this, Reep. You may have motivated me to dig through the clutter in my garage and see, if indeed, I decided to retain the book "The Shape of Things to Come," containing John's "vision"...not because I believed any of it, but because I found it so ludicrous and laughable (after I left), that I thought I should keep it as a reminder of what I was once

We still have not received an update on the progress being made in the independent investigation conducted independently by those independent of the church and all its independent off-shoots. I guess I have no choice but to continue trying to remain optimistic that the reason everything is taking so long is that former leaders want to make sure no stone is left unturned.
