From January, 2016: Posted by: TheJewel Date: January 09, 2016 03:51AM I wanted to make a comment in answer to someone’s post (too lazy to go back and hunt down who) regarding whether JRS was a member of the John Birch Society. While I cannot say one way or the other whether JRS himself carried a membership card, I am pretty sure that many of the key players in the walk at that time were

A few posts from 2011. Yes, 2011. How time flies when you're having... Nevermind Posted by: changedagain Date: May 22, 2011 10:18AM One thing I learned not to do was question the validity of a pastor's word just because he happened to be totally wasted (alcohol) when he delivered it. In fact, I eventually came to the conclusion that God preferred moving through an alcoholic mi

In any event, I imagine once you get in that orbit, it's hard to extricate oneself. I didn't face that particular challenge.

Of course, that in itself doesn't constitute being a member of a church. But I have seen him at services through the years, and I think he was on the corporate board of a church during G & M's rein.

No wonder he needs people like the Grays to bail him out. Although it was obvious that G. Gray was close to Gary, socializing with him and advising him on business matters, I have been told that he was never really a part of TLWF. Interesting. Perhaps his interpretation of being a part of something is different than most people's. :)

Posts by Onion and Paleface: Posted by: Onion Date: March 21, 2019 01:39PM I just learned that employees of the TLWF churches as far back as 2011, were paid $60k per year and carried "company credit cards." If anyone who worked in the accounting or money management areas had the gall/balls to tell someone that a charge for a $200 bottle of wine was likely a luxury item and not a

from May of 2016: Posted by: larry bobo Date: May 27, 2016 12:27AM Cloudwatcher – I was making light of being referred to as a Nephilim channel if you showed any type of disagreement with the leadership of TLWF. John tossed the word around frequently and I don’t think many stopped to think about what it actually meant. The Nephilim were the offspring of the sons of God who had interbred w

Bizarre...but the norm in TLWF: Posted by: JesusJesusJesus Date: December 24, 2018 11:43PM This is kind of scary how long it's getting, and how vital understanding those words are in truly understanding "TLWF Experience." (Now if that's not the world's worst theme park idea, I don't know what is!) As for the furniture reference - I don't know about th

More on the 'upward flow' (i.e. enrich the leaders): Posted by: Reepicheep Date: March 21, 2019 08:15AM Unfortunately, there were no outside financial checks or balances in TLWF, only the Annual Shepherd's Report. The ASR kept church members busy counting paperclips every year while never having access to important info like Apostolic Fathering Ministries' salaries or

I was talking to Craig about a band that I was going to start playing with, and he said "Don't tell me you're gonna go out and become a fucking musician. That's not who you are." possible response: O.K.--but don't tell me you are a pastor, because that's not who you are. Deal?

A couple posts from March of 2017: Posted by: pbxguy Date: March 20, 2017 12:49AM One thing I will never miss about TLW is the ingrained exclusivity and elitism. It is so unfortunate that someone would think the "Little People" were somehow treated less badly than those who participated in the hierarchy. Everyone was taken advantage of. Everyone. From the preacher who thinks

Post by dbc from November of 2018: Posted by: dbc Date: November 02, 2018 08:28PM Let’s not forget the origins of this group. It was meant to be the restoration of apostolic authority. This time they have a "new understanding of what repentance means,” or a "new revelation of what l
