This is a recurring idea, Guardians, Illuminati, the divine right of annointed kings, the chinese Immortals etc. Not such a surprising notion when you consider that the powerless minds of all children are shaped from birth by contrastingly very powerful adults who wield absolute control over the child's environment and the cultural influences that the child is exposed to. Psychology reco

9/26/2011 9:55:00 PM Sweat lodge sentencing will be after mid-October 'As to the makeup of the pre-sentence hearings, Darrow has ruled that the state may present evidence and witnesses in an attempt to prove aggravating factors in addition to the jury-decided factor that Ray's actions in the deaths of Brown, James Shore and Liz Neuman caused severe emotional harm to their fam

This court doc sets out the State's case on sentencing recommendation, well worth reading as a reminder of the fundamental issues addressed in bringing this long and convoluted case in the first place. Prosecution is asking for 9 years and compensation to be paid and makes the point of this particular prosecution needing to have a deterrent effect on any JAR copyists and similar chancers:

The letters sent in support of James Ray, to mitigate his sentence for the 'help' and 'social service' he provided to his customers--that left four of them dead---have been posted on the court docs site. Read with care as some indicate a crass and callous disregard for anyone else but the sainted DeathRay and his doctrine of Harmonic Bullcrap:

There's a pending motion from the defence for a further postponement of the mitigation hearing prior to sentencing: ....just more delaying tactics, I think, as the defence claims not to have made arrangements fore their several dozen witnesses to appear, despite having already had several months grace to make those arrangements. The answer from the State:

Considering that you have often stated that you think the xJC's is a cult itself, both Nick and Kevin cult leaders and wish to avoid Sisi and Glenn, who are regular contributors-----I say go for it if that's what you want. For myself, I can't figure out why you would want back in--or why on earth they would want you back. Some things in life are past their sell-by date and yo

I think restaurants have to pay extra to get their used oil collected and removed, you can't just put it out for the usual bin collection. Someone offering to take it for free would probably also have a grateful chip-fryer willing to load it into the van as well. I don't think Dave McKay and Cherry would need any extra support--these are practised conmen and quite used to manipulatin

I've seen footage of Sue decanting the used cooking oil into a jerry can for fuelling the campervan. (can't remember where from, off-hand) Its why I know they must have a lock-up somewhere to store the used oil drums that they must collect from restaurants and chippies. They do whatever processing is needed themselves and get the conversions done 'under the counter' by a fri

Wife-Swap: .....the upgrade, may have been negotiated with the programs producers for the sake of "generating" this outcome......just a thought! I hadn't thought of that, of course there would have been a hefty fee for exposing one's life on the programme-- but a sweetner to give a feel-good ending and a little moral lesson to justify the intrusion into the bargain

'Though I must say, aren't those things expensive? ' One of the strange contradictions that I noticed on the Wife-Swap programme was that Sue produced £2.50 for the weekly household budget and was so obnoxiously pennypinching and moralising about it to the other family---but at the end of the programme was able to buy a new lap-top for Daniel and upgrade their campervan to a mo

'Though I must say, aren't those things expensive? ' They run them on used cooking oil I believe, although even that requires a garage or lock-up for storage and topping up. I think the stuff has to be minimally processed in some way before use also, so unless Dave is forking out for five star, he must be restricted to driving in a quite restricted area around a static base.

Glenn apparently has previous experience with Co$ and some other cultish group, which would, I think, make him a bit wary of readily joining McKay's dog and pony show--though he is clearly tempted. The only good thing about experience is that it makes you more wary next time--or at least it should do. McKay doesn't target the young, idealistic college kid/major life change demogra

This Glenn has the mental capacity of an eight-year-old. Somehow I doubt this. He would not be accepted, even as an army reservist, were this the case. The capacity is there, it is just not being put to best use right now.

Take heart, he is posturing as much for himself as for his audience: "We turned up the pressure on the regime, and it was stretched so thin the whole thing became untenable," a western diplomat said on Monday The rebels adapted and learned. They realised that their reckless advances without consolidating their positions weren't working. They began to move methodically,

BTW, Glenn, I completely agree with your assessment that I am a nasty harpy who is cold and calculating. However, those potentialities in my personality do not exclusively define my character, just as I hope that your currently being as thick as one plank does not exclusively define your future prospects.

My last word on the Sisi debate; If you are trying to avoid her like the plague then it is incumbent on you alone to do the avoiding--it is not going to be accomplished by throwing a wobbler every time her name is mention

just what could he be recruited into, though? Internet marketers, of the scamming variety, regularly announce their retirements in an attempt to throw off critics---and proceed with business as usual on a slightly lower decibel level. He sent out automated emails to the faithful announcing the graduation, then? Perhaps Dave McKay expects to get his hands on the forfeited goods and chatte

Is ''Sisi'' really Al and Glenn's trolling friend Josie? Perhaps Sisi is a female alter ego of the hybrid Glenn/Al. The ultra feminine 'pink cookie' persona seems a tad overdone, more suited to a naive 13 year old (or a drag queen) than an older working woman with some tragedies behind her. Who really cares? They have all demonstrated themselves to be untr
