Sid loves to go on about the Life Force and Living Force. Funny when you type Living Force into Google pretty much all that comes up is Star Wars and the band Living Force which were a Sid's boys - maybe he should drop the Christian pretence and go for the Star Wars crowd. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Force_(Star_Wars) QuoteThe Living Force The Living Force is thought to be in most living be

I also had a vision (or at least thought that I did, now I dont want to believe much) although mine was in a dream when I sought out my guru. What you say about never giving up yanking at his sleeve rings a bell, it was difficult to get to mine too - I wonder if it is not just something that gurus do to create intrigue and cultivate gratuity. This is my favourite that a friend I met throu

Johannes, It is a terrible story that took me a few goes to read all the way through - different gurus same stories it seems. It was a very honest and well written account, thank-you for sharing it here. I am curious about Yogajyoti and what organisation if any he runs, how many followers he has and where in the world? How did you first become involved with him if you dont mind me asking?

This is sad as hell and an honest picture of what giving your life to Chris Butler gets you : QuoteHi all, This is my first post so I will try not to bore you too much. Today, I have come to the realisation I probably have ADHD. I took a few online tests and sure enough the questions all related to how I feel. I am not sure what subtype etc.. as I do not know enough yet. Anyway, if I

According to the Bible Krishna Consciousness is against the ten commandments : Quote4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: Ex. 34.17 · Lev. 19.4 ; 26.1 · Deut. 4.15-18 ; 27.15 for I the LORD t

ACB essentially said that all God personalities were the same including Jesus and that noone need give up their religious beliefs they should just add chanting Hare Krishna to their lives, although I have never seen any example of him saying that Jesus was a pure devotee of Krishna or ISKCON having Jesus' Appearance Day, so if Sid was always a Christian he at least kept a lid on it for a wh

What makes this abuse? Apart from taking a child away from their family when they may be as young as two years old and treating them as an object? I can remember reading a magazine article about the girls who grew up and went on to live very difficult lives, not suprisingly not being able to adjust to the real world that they now have to live in. I cant seem to find any articles like this onli

The issue is that Krishna Consciousness lays claim to being a science, it is methodical and dependent on ideals of tradition and succession. Most of the apologetics and secrecy not only on this thread but on these issues is derived from lingering sentiment and allegiance to ACB. The recurring theme here and among Siddha's followers is that he really tried to follow ACB, he was the way an

I really do not have insight or experience regarding the socio/poitcal climate in Hawaii so I am not trying to affront by asking this, I do recall that Hawaii used to have a very liberal reputation and that gays used to go there to get married, but if people in Hawaii are so liberal why has Gabbard been such a success? There is no indication that he is anything but a one man band for gay bashing.

QuoteprivateyeIt is common knowledge that the governor of Hawaii is a closet lesbian. It seems Chris Butler does not mind as long as she remains in the closet. But if it were a closet gay man I don't think Chris would overlook it. Once again we see how the cult can do anything hypocritical to gain power, even having one of their members such as Andy Smith work for a lesbian governor. I am

The story about the deities is the most disgusting example of JG regarding his theological shortcomings that I have ever come across. To actually have the arrogance to put the deities to sleep because he wasn't around and just leave them like that - as if god is sleeping beauty to slumber until the handsome prince comes to break the spell. I wish there was an emoticon for vomiting profuse

QuoteIn reading Jewish literature it would be well to have a clear understanding of two great divisions in the heritage of Jewish religious traditions contained in the Mishnah, the Talmud, (either Palestinian or Babylonian,) and other commentaries on the Mishnah through the centuries. This literary heritage is semi-authoritative and its most authoritative parts may be disputed by accepted authori

That is just because they have so much to hide. Rick Reed working under the instructions of Chris Butler went to work in the Prosectors Department, later using information that had illegally obtained from this position to slander a political opponent which backfired when he was exposed as being an SoI puppet by his ex-wife.
