. We agree • to use the surplus from YM 2006 to reduce the subsidy from the General Fund for financing YM2007 • to suspend the Interest Allocation process (see Handbook Section 11.1.6) for 2006–2007, and ask the Treasurer to bring a further recommendation about this in the Budget papers for 2007–2008 • to allocate monies for the AWPS visitor from the FWCC Travel Fund. • to donate $6

Quotezeuszor...how much of other people's money does it take for the Jesus Christians to stay poor? You like to reference Gandhi so much as an example of a non-Christian but righteous person. Well, it took a lot of other people's money for him to stay poor too. He was a self-promoting, opportunistic crook, just like you. What you do is not "living by faith" we who live in

Anothert DM post from this site I am the co-founder of the Jesus Christians, who were featured on a recent CNN Report ("Body Parts") in relation to a member who donated a kidney last year. There are several of our members who have expressed an interest in donating a liver lobe (or possibly even a lung lobe) if they knew of someone in need and if there was a way open to do so.

I come from a group (Jesus Christians) which has received some bad press because so many of us (more than half) have donated kidneys to virtual strangers. I know of one member who a

Here are some reposts from the exfamily board where DM explains that he began as a Family member and shepherd in Australia. MxKay and his wife are both from the US. He does not explain how he came to be in Australia and whether he joined in the US and was part of the great exodus from the US around the time of the RNR or whether he emigrated to Australia first and then got recruited t

Have pasted the whole article for easier viewing here. IN TROUBLE AGAIN They first came to our attention during the 1981-82 Christmas season for the literature they were distributing to young people in Perth . We reported on them in June 1985. A group of young people, including a 12-year-old girl from India, walked across the Nullarbor, and were nicknamed the ‘Nullarbor Wa

Quotemuppet Thanks Apostate, There was one parent who did not want to become emotionally attached to a young child, in case of persecution, learning this, no doubt, from DM who had demonstrated his emotional freedom from his own children by cutting them out of his life. Dave does mention one of his sons on that donor link above. He also states that his son in law, who is also a donor, had

Quotemuppet Some information at this link, stating that DM had one and one post from a Dave McKay claiming that the JC's were building some sort of motel in Kenya. How bizarre! A motel? Why? Yes, it seems that David is now returning and partaking of the system that he claims to forsake. Watch and wait now for the claim that it is a health centre or the like! T

QuoteDave McKayAh, but I DO believe in it, Matilda. I just don't believe it is infallible, and I see nowhere in the book itself where IT claims to be infallible. You DO believe in it? Good. Where are the instructions for trials in the Bible?I dont think I have read them.

QuoteDave McKaySorry, we must be talking about different Bibles. My Bible isn't infallible (and never claims to be infallible), but it does contain whole books with instructions on how to conduct trials. And even if it's not infallible, it is still the greatest book that was ever written. What instructions do the 'whole books' give on conducting trials? Why bother wit

QuoteDave McKayHi dv, There are a lot of new books out spruiking all kinds of stuff. But there's an Old Book that I prefer. Not quite sure why you say you prefer an 'old book'. I take that to mean that you prefer the Bible. If that is what you mean, then I would contest that, because you do say that the Bible is not entirely the word of God and you use that as a licence t

Flogging is not part of any Christian teaching we are familiar with. Dave's current writings about Christian Government and leadership are way off the mark. His secret trial and plans for flogging, provide an insight into his mode of governing and leading. Perhaps he intends to lead by example and take a flogging for the articles stolen from Deakin?

Dave's veiled threat in the email reveals a lot . He has always boasted that ex members have never criticised him. Now outsiders can see why. Such an email would trigger the fear instilled in the group and memories of meeting his wrath face to face are awful. He has a way of putting members down! Dave has alaways denied that group members got benefits boasting that 'we live by fa

QuoteDave McKay'critical thinking skills'? Is that what you call it? I'm afraid that I have found very few 'critical thinking skills' on the part of contributors to this site. I honestly think that almost all of the traits that you say characterise cults relate very strongly to the attitudes evidenced and supported on this site. Fran and others have tried to communica
