The people behind Sai Baba's myth and money-machine should be prosecuted. But that's hard to do when they are the law. 9 billion in Sai Baba wealth can buy a lot of graft and bribes. Some people will do terrible things for that kind of money, or for a lot less. It really is a terrible situation. People need to be warned to keep their children far away from any Sai Baba org center,

The most bizarre belief expressed so far: that his urine can cure AIDS (by drinking it? injecting it? bathing in it?) and that was the reason he was on dialysis so long---the doctors were determined to drain every possible, precious drop. Its an advanced twist on the devotees drinking the guru's bathwater or the water (sweat) from the guru's sandals.

Crank up the myth machine. Apparently Indian TV news is reporting that he will reincarnate in 15 days.

The Indian media, and even some other media, are totally unreliable in Sai Baba. Some of them appear to be posting from press-releases sent to them about the death of Sai Baba. Probably the big meeting they had yesterday for the Sai Baba Trust, they decided to pull the plug, and write up the press releases, set the funeral date in 3 days, etc. Meanwhile, many average citizens see the truth o

Unbelievable, they actually did it. As predicted in this thread, Sai Baba was announced dead on the Easter weekend. Sai Baba, announced dead on Easter Sunday. Meanwhile, Sai Baba had claimed he was equal or greater than Jesus, and Sai Baba claimed to have resurrected people, a brazen lie that was proven a lie. So can anyone believe Sai Baba died on Easter Sunday, the day Christians believ

Confirmed - SSB dies on Easter Sunday, a coincidence or what? Finally the speculation is over so get ready for the battle for power. Condolences to the devotees, I hope they get through it OK - we'll also so see the Trust, politicians etc in their true light fighting over the spoils. So much for living until age of 96 and the other prophesies! Hope this opens the gates for those

As well, these days every Guru says they have achieved some sort of perfect enlightenment. That is the oldest trick in the book. They all make that claim, Werner Erhard, Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle, Ka-Ching Hai, the list is infinite. Why do they do it? PAIN. The pain of the human condition. And the Gurus know human do far more to avoid pain, than gain pleasure. So the Guru claims with

The Indian media is unbelievable. This piece of propaganda, actually exposes what goes on, but reframes it. It says, people and companies get large contracts from the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust (SSSCT), and also make large donations. That is called a kick-back. This massive corruption system is much bigger than Sai Baba, he is just the figurehead. And the Indian media covers it up,

If they do this, that is a criminal act, if the death certificate is tampered with. But the problem is, the entire legal system is locked down by the Sai Baba organization in that area, so are the police, so how can anyone find out the facts? If they want to fake the death certificate of Sai Baba, they appear to be able to get away with it. Who can stop them in that area?

Looks like you are right! Are they going to time/fake Sai Baba's death, or pull the plug on Sai Baba, on Good Friday, for the Jesus connection? Then do some fake miracle on Easter Sunday, to connect with the resurrection from the bible? If so, this will be the most organized fraud of this type in modern history. Sathya Sai Baba critical, doctors making last ditch efforts

Very true, about how people's beliefs about Ching Hai might change. In cognitive science, belief change is achieved by many new pieces of evidence/experience, accumulated over time. Then repeated. The same way normal life experience shapes our beliefs. But Ching Hai knows this better than anyone. That is why she has locked peoples beliefs down, using powerful emotions, and powerful im

The rumour mill has it that he may have already passed away and the Trust will delay announcing something until Good Friday to link his passing to Jesus - helping to implant this impression with his Western followers. If he is still on a life support system it wouldn't be impossible for it even to be turned off over Easter to enhance the link ! Not long to wait me thinks and all will start

the comments have really changed since Sai Baba first got sick. Now its almost all harsh critics of Sai Baba. And the Indian media is a total Sai Baba shill. Many comments are very critical of the media in India for being so terrible. Of course, the media is owned by those in power, who want the public to worship the Sai Baba's. But you sense the Indian people have had enough of it, on

Someone from Sai Baba Inc is going to fake some type of bogus "miracle" right around the time he dies. If they do that, then its back to business as usual. No wonder the politicians loved Sai Baba, he taught them if you are going to lie, tell a big lie, and people will believe it. And build a wax statue, and inject some scented oil into the hollowed-out area in the base of the statu

Well it looks like the inevitable end of his life is imminent with complete liver failure and everything else shutting down. Even the recent report of a 'miracle' happening when a wax statue of SSB started oozing perfumed oil from it's feet cannot appease the devotees (despite quite a few of them racing to the house near Puttaparthi to witness it as a sign from Baba). Other gurus will fill in the gap. Ammachi (The hugger) Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (Art of Living) Jaggi Vashav (Isha Yoga) And perhaps competing avatars of SSB will appear and proliferate and each will have a retinue of thugs and have gang wars where followers will beat each other up and compete for the paise.
