changedagain,

i got your new hobby in mind. bam - beekeeping, with the hopeful result you harvest some honey, put some harvest in to 1/2 pint decorative jars and give away at christmas or birthdays for presents to relatives and friends. after that, they will want more and, as a result, you never need worry about the next year's gift, you just do an encore. well, it has worked for me several years over.
happy trails, prettyboy

Thanks Prettyboy. Even though I am allergic to bees, and a sting could be a life-threatening occurrence, I have decided to take your advice as a Word from God. New hobby starts today! Much safer than doing gymnastics stunts on high rises, which another friend suggested.
Again, thanks!

p.s. Death to the AntiChrist! Wait...that is us. Disregard this p.s.

I have been following this site for a long time. Thank you all for helping in this! Left TLWF early 90’s. There were many things I never agreed with and just put on a shelf. Now I realize the lack of authenticity I had. It took many years until I found a church. I was extremely empty emotionally, spiritually. Now I can’t imagine how I kept going. For people in agreement w TLWF teaching, they seem to think others have fallen and they are not able to accept that God is bigger than one organization. People should not be threatened when others go on a different path. What is wrong with different opinions, diversity, and disagreements? Why is that so threatening to an organization. I did not leave my walk with God and Jesus when I left the walk.

I wish that there was some way to do keep an on-going "spreadsheet" of everything that has been discovered, revealed, and what still needs documentation. Congregants were lied to, abused in every possible way.
Every time I read (here or on a chat, or ??) that one other item has been discovered and exposed, my heart does little somersaults and yipees!

Each little bit learned validates all the cautions and red flags that we felt. That doesn't take away from knowing the wrong we've been done, or the heartbreak of spending year in a cult. But each little bit makes those times - of being reprimanded for not being spiritual enough, makes the put downs and planned isolation, the hurts, the separation of families - a little less impactful. As I write this I am starting to think that the T-shirt from the '70's showing the mouse (or whatever) boldly giving the finger to the hawk, now has new meaning!

Mary - First a huge thank you. I know you are tirelessly working toward every possible thing that can be followed up on. Your persistence is greatly appreciated - but please take care of yourself. If there is anything we can do, don't hesitate to ask.

Prettyboy - I appreciate the slant that you bring to these pages. You are able to recognize, even after years of being away - as have many - the damage and the effect of it. Perhaps when it all comes crumbling down, we can do our own regional reunion. Find a location where we can all sit face to face in the same room. Life is too short, my friend, to do otherwise. We (Dave and I) are so happy to have you back - on paper at least!!

Changedagain - Carry on, I'm smiling.

Yes

Note: I've been engaged in a parallel quest for many years now--seeing if I can find anything done by G & M that was ethical. So far nothing has emerged, but I'm not giving up hope. I'm almost finished researching the coffee table, and it isn't looking good. Looks like another letdown :(

Well I just loose the bees not to sting you. And if they do I will bind the bees to the pit and intercede for resurrection life.
I'm talkin full on thumbs out binding and arm waving intercession. You're good!!!

O.K.--well there's no way I can get out of this now. I mean, I have faith! (I think)
