A.D.

You are working off the premise that Christianity and the Bible accurately represent what Jesus taught. Not all will agree, myself included.

Those who wish to find justifications in the Bible for what they choose to believe will find it. Scripture-twisting has been a dance many have done for centuries.

Those who have done any serious Biblical scholarship inquiries will have discovered both Christianity and the Bible have spurious foundations. It is only their incessant advertisement and packaging that has given them any gravitas. When it comes to content, the quality is questionable.

Jesus taught both in the Prodigal Parable and in the statement "I go to prepare a place for you (not here)," that our RETURN to HEAVEN is the goal, not dragging HEAVEN down here to fix this mess.

KBoy actually in this case, i am trying to find something in the bible that backs up the manifest sons of God doctrine, since the bible is the book that JRS and all of the Latter Rain adherents claim that the bible is their source.
'
First of all, there is something else that I didn't mention, Joel's army, the book of Joel, and the New Apostlolic Reformation guys point to that book more than they do Roman's 8. Basically, they are one and the same.

But again, I talked with Mr. Ross about bringing up the theology of the Walk, and he said it was OK to discuss, and discuss it how it relates to the bible, since the bible is the source that the theology of the Walk is supposed to come from, as you recall JRS often said that the bible is the plumbline.

By the way, the current wave of apostles and prophets claim that God restored porphets in the 1980s and apostles in the 1990s, I guess they figure it all started with them, that seems to be the norm, everybody thinks they invented whatever they happen into.

k Boy,

A friend of mine, a lurker (I once mentioned him in a post when I first joined this forum as JRS had arranged his big fat Walk wedding) asked me to post the following link to a Response to John Pavlovitz:

[fearlessconversations.net]

Want more? Goggle The Heresy of False Teacher John Pavlotiz-Pastor Gabe Hughes.

I love you k Boy but if forced to choose between your man John Pavlotiz and the Hare Krishna's, I'd go with the Hare Krishna's.

LILY, LILY, LILY:

Its because of the Hare Krishna's that I came to LOVE curry. They are a relatively harmless bunch, but I'm confused why you would pit them against Pavlovitz. Perhaps he stirs the pot a bit too much.

I can certainly see the 'troublemaker' he would appear to be for many Christians. I am at least pleased to see there is a voice among the ranks willing to rattle their cages.

Nothing on this level is sacrosanct, and there are no 'holy books' found in HEAVEN.

:)

Lily Rose, good to see you again.

Yea I like that link, I have watched that guy a lot, Fellowship of the Martyrs,.

I read those qualifications he put down for the manifested sons of God, I don't think any of the Living Word crew, past or present, (*including the ole Apostle to the Dogs) would rate. I think the Living Worders would qualify as the INFESTATION of the Sons of God instead.

Perhaps the biggest problem with the Living Word crew, NOT becoming the "Christ in the earth," or the "manifest sons of God," and I speak for my generation, and I think it applies to other generations, I think the biggest problem is we considered ourselves "SONS OF JOHN," and then later, they considered themselves "SONS OF MARILYN," and then for a while it was in vogue to call themselves the "SONS OF GARILYN." All of that, is in fact deifying human beings. In short, that is idolatry. Idolatry is never winked at by God. Not at all. There is always harsh punishment for that.
