I'm going to wait until the price drops to $5.99 and then buy it for my wife.
I know it's a risk. I wouldn't be surprised if she filed for divorce within a week of receiving this gift.

Cowabunga Mark Twain.....that's cognitive dissonance. I think there might be something to it. The dissonance of thought between the 1972 vision fulfillments (which Gary keeps bring up) and resurrection life and becoming powerful little gods have not been dismissed as failed visions or prophecies but rather rationalized as modification of the original vision (as kBoy said, that's all they got). According to the cognitive dissonance theory, this is an easier route to resolve the stress associated with cognitive dissonance than a complete dismissal of the individual acceptance of the vision.

The perverted, harsh application of these messages created the exact opposite of what Gary claims. I can't imagine too many other organizations within the U.S. that had as much paranoia and downright fear of being ostracized/humiliated/shunned as the people in TLWF experienced under 'Mom and Dad's' regime. And when a few people had the gall to express publicly their insecurity, they were blamed for it by Mom and Dad:
"Why can't you accept our love? Insecurity is the expression of Satan!!"

p.s. nothing was ever the fault of those delivering the "living word", btw

Actually, I think the exact statement was "Insecurity is Satan in the Kingdom."
If this is incorrect, feel free to correct me. I'll promise not to lash back in insecurity to this correction...going against instinct :)

I recall Marilyn saying it as: "Insecurity is the Satan of the Kingdom"

HEADBANGER NEWS: Up Against the Wall!

Love the Lord, Yield to His Glory

December 10, 2016

"We live in an age of tremendous disunity (which we solve by excommunicating members). . ."

"These divisions of the flesh (which have nothing to do with multiple marriages) hinder our relationships (ya think?) . . ."

"We can never change this reality through our fleshly efforts (even though we have tried for more than after half a century), but when God’s glory flows freely among us (we would like the exact date again) it will begin to bring about oneness (not a moment too soon ), and that is the answer to any problem that we face."

"As we yield ourselves in worship and adoration of Him (TLW leadership) He pours out His glory that will burn away the dross of division (by further reducing the membership numbers)."

"As the oneness (mind-control) comes . . . the world will come to believe (that TLW is a cult to be avoided).
