The mom and dad syndrome? Ha. I had solicitors at my door wanting to tell me about the mother God--maybe it is M communicating from the cloud--after all I am designated watcher LOL

I made the mistake of trying to connect to what I thought was 'Mom' in the cloud of witnesses, and all I heard back was:
"No wire hangers, ever!"
Someone up there knows my bad habits.

What is the focus on whether Satan is chained for a thousand years or is running free? If you don't believe the Kingdom is here or you are sceptical if God or Christ exist or you have lost faith, then the whole Satan thing is moot. Really, I see us still giving too much power to the ghosts over us! Some haven't been to a service in 30-40 years! How can this be of importance? How can something from 1979 still have any weight? How can anyone you have no faith in still affect you?

My hope is your healing from injuries done to you will be fast, that the PTSD can be controlled, that you recognize you don't have to give your power to people you have no relationship with.

I don't post much anymore. I don't care what Gary is doing. I don't care that Marilyn died. I don't care what ApCo does. And the people left behind are on their own. They have no qualms in kicking us out or labeling us as nephilim or Jezebel. They are sychophants who bow down to status and money but marginalize those who don't offer that.

I'm sure I'm offending some in this group. But at some point, all this has to stop meaning anything in our lives and we move on.

"Love For The Word"

December 1, 2016

"I am privileged to have spiritual parents—Gary and Marilyn Hargrave—who are always bringing the scriptures alive and nurturing this fellowship of churches." ('Nurturing' is a bit of a stretch.)

"They are a tremendous example of the love for the Word of God and of walking in it." ('Love' is a bit of a stretch in any context here.)

"As we see examples of faith around us, let’s imitate it (Hebrews 13:7)!" (TLW leadership role-models have been conspicuously in short supply.)

Your post cracked me up because I have misinterpreted changed too. I know I can't speak for him but I think he was using sarcasm to express his disdain for the LW.

A while back I posted something about Leah Remini leaving Scientology and speaking out about it. It didn't garner any discussion on the forum but I found her expose pretty courageous. I have kind of followed her exit and she continues to speak out and has recently said she "will keep doing battle with the Scientology Church to give the victims the strength to speak and fight back." I think that is what many on the forum are doing here through their participation, and moving on may not be an immediate goal. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Yeah, I don't put much thought into whether Satan is here or there,..or whatever. That post was my best effort to express disdain toward the topic, in my usual ineffective sarcastic way. I do need to start using the proper emoticon to convey an attempt at satire. The ensuing confusion is wearisome.

Apparently, there are quite a few people out there that seem to enjoy reading about our gaping wounds.
That said, I will not be satisfied until we overtake that other cult that seems to be drawing more interest. We will prevail!

yeah the whole message changed in the church after Gary imparted oneness, went from Love to submitting to authority so we can all be one.
