jhorning,

Yes, at Shiloh during all the violent intercession to kill the neph, the movie Grease came out and everybody was going to see it and talking about it. I was present when Miller told the Shiloh folks that Rizzo was a channel. What do you think?

The 'Fred and Ethel' tomes, created to monitor everything that happened in the local churches, were an expression of that OCD personality. The man-hours spent each year fulfilling the record keeping requirements was absurd...well, at least to my carnal mind.

Yes, some of it was necessary. But it definitely took on a life of its own...and became all-consuming for a number of people.

paleface:

Approximate dates of shepherds in Salt Lake City: (questionable spellings)

1969 to 1974 ----- Herman Maxwell, Harold Bailey

1974 to 1976 ----- Bowman Littleton, Eddie Taylor, Chuck Longest, Eli Kuala, Harold Bailey, Herman Maxwell

1976 to 1979 ----- Bowman Littleton, Eddie Taylor, Chuck Longest, Eli Kuala, Harold Bailey

1979 to 1980 ----- Eli Kuala, Harold Bailey

1980 to 1982/83 ----- Paul McMeekin, Zeth Bassill, Harold Bailey

1983 to 1985 ----- Ron Court, Tom Edvalson, (John Miller from afar)

1985/1986 ----- Church building sold. Everybody that’s left exits the Walk except for the shepherds and a couple of other younger people------all who move out of state.

The church reached its height during the Bowman years, lots of fun and variety.

Still not sure about Rizzo. But I'm 100% confident that Mary Patrick in Sister Act (1992) was a channel. Nothing will dissuade me!

changedagain: Mary Patrick...what a channel. Rizzo was just a confused young teenager.

FCSLC: 1979 did Bowman leave the Walk or just move to another church after SLC?

I'm sorry to tell you that Eli passed away due to heart problems last month. He was one of the good one, after leaving the madness.

lily rose. I don’t know what happened to Bowman after he left SLC except for rumors that he died young perhaps in China while employed in the import/export business.

paleface. That’s sad news about Eli. One time during the summer he and I walked the railroad tracks near his home in Salt Lake County all the way to the Kennecott Copper Bingham Mine property and back again. About seventeen miles in all ---- good memories. The fact that Eli left “the madness” is very good news indeed. Thank you.
