well, finally saw this infomercial DVD from the library. (never give these folks 1 penny).

Rick Ross is in this movie!!
Rick Ross appears as the lone-critic of Werner Erhard and EST on planet earth. It was very comical how they "framed" Rick Ross's criticism about the "re-victimization" of people. Obviously, they included Rick Ross in the movie, so no one could say there were "no" critics in the movie. There was ONE real critic. They also pre-framed and post-framed his comments with Werner himself, to try to neutralize that criticism, and try to dispense with it.
Interestingly, Rick Ross is NOT listed in the credits for the movie. Maybe someone could ask Mr. Ross if he even knew he was in the movie when interviewed, or if it was archival footage?


INFOMERCIAL:
Now this movie is strictly informercial propaganda for Werner Erhard. Werner Erhard obviously controlled the editing, when it came to himself. He gave Robyn Symon the rights to the old est footage, obviously in exchange for completely controlling the presentation. Anyone can see that, its embarassing. You can see how they carefully layer the past Werner from the 70's, with the current Werner, and overlap them, very carefully. Its all about trying to "reframe" the past, the way Werner wants you to see it.

But they show Werner Erhard screaming, abusing and bullying people, and then try to reframe all of it.
But you can see for yourself, his use of lying on the floor trance methods, primal scream, making people cry, and various brainwashing methods of the time. Even edited, you can see almost Jim Jones levels of mass persuasion and mass trance work going on.

The infomerical is just full of Testimonials from all of Werner's cronies and employees.
He even gets his "mom" in there for a segment, and she takes the blame for him abandoning his family. The staged "hug" between Werner and mom is rather AWKWARD, to say the least.

He also has a few old Hunger Project cronies, claiming it raised 100 million. These people have no shame, literally. His brother Nathan Rosenberg also makes an appearance, and tries to act touchy-feely, for the Landmarkians who will watch it.

60 Minutes:
Werner does an entire spin-doctor session on this, even blaming news orgs for bribing his daughter, which obviously is nonsense. More likely,they told the truth at the time, and then after came to some kind of "deal". Of course he blames Scientology.

In a REALLY embarrassing segment, Werner is in the back of a limo, it seems with Robyn Symon, and he is saying he can't come to the USA due to "enemies". What is implied is Scientology wants to kill him, or is hunting him, and that is why he stays out of the USA.
He pretends its about not getting into trouble with Uncle Sam, who may have some questions for Werner.

Then they do some more propaganda, that Werner is saving Ireland, and Israel. In the staged EST seminar in Japan, even Werner looks bored doing that one.

LANDMARK:
It closes with a Landmark Infomercial. An informericial inside an informercial. Werner carefully says he does not own Landmark but CONSULTS with them. That is the trick. You can get paid millions to "consult". Someone needs to investigate that one.
But they show in IMAGE how Landmark is a clone of Werner Erhard, they show the same blackboard, same type of clothes on the Landmark Leader, same kind of person crying on the microphone. This is meant to show people unconsciously, that the Landmark Leader is Werner Erhard in clone form. Landmark is a clone of Werner Erhard.




Werner's Word-Strings:
Notice how Werner never actually says ANYTHING. He says a bunch of words in a string, or shouts them, but there is never any content to it. That is his gag. To convincingly say strings of words, that don't mean anything. That puts people into a Confused state, which is very useful for him.
In hypnosis, that is called being Artfully Vague, and Inducing Confusion, which is what he does very well. There was no content to almost anything he says, its literally just word strings. If you try to listen to it, you can LITERALLY feel yourself going into a slight-trance, or a slight-daze. This is deliberate, it is a deliberate technique he has always used. You will notice your mind-drifting after only listening to him talk for a few sentences, never mind 12 hrs.
This is the exact same language patterns used in Landmark advertising.


Also, he tells his bogus Transformation Story on the bridge, which is almost identical to the Byron Katie cockroach story, in that there is no content. Its just an image, with no content.

Werner shows no emotion at all in the movie, even in the close-ups. This is the psychopath part of it, they don't feel normal human emotion, or empathy. They can abandon their familes, they can verbally abuse old ladies, they don't care. Criminals literally believe "victims" are asking for it, and get what they deserve.
At the end, there is ONE short shot, of Werner almost tearing up and his face going red. Not a very convincing performance, he is better at screaming and yelling.

But Werher Erhard is the master con-artist, a sociopathic salesman who cynically exploits the "weak humans".
This is also possibly connected to someone like himself of Jewish descent, Jack Rosenberg, taking the fake name Werner Erhard, which sounds like a Nazi, as Babara Walters has said. It does remind one of the idea of the Master Morality put forward by Nietzsche, where to the "Master" having a conscience and "morality" is simply seen as weakness.
Werner Erhard is obviously pandering to "normal" people in this movie, trying to pretend his sociopathic behavior was empathy in disguise. Its just more cynical manipulation.

Its amazing that so many people can be duped by people like this.
But Werner Erhard never lost out by underestimating the intelligence of his audience.

But the positive side is most people are decent folks, and they don't expect someone is feeding them the Big Lie, in such a convincing way.
But this entire infomerical movie was literally a Big Lie, meant to try to reframe the disgrace of Werner Erhard. Did it succeed? Not a chance.
Notice the movie did basically no business at all, this is because it is obviously a PR exercise for Werner.

If Werner Erhard came out and told the TRUTH about the incredible SCAM he pulled on millions of people, now that would be a bestseller. But his cynical pandering and PR is not going to convince anyone.

But the movie is worth watching for FREE (don't give them any money) if just to see more complex tactics of a clever sociopath, if not a psychopath. A sociopath cannot really control themselves, but if they try really hard, they can even dupe their own familes eventually.
Its all just a big "GAME" to these guys, Werner even says that in the film. Its all a big game to him. To a sociopath, humans are just pawns on the chessboard.
But these very clever sociopaths with charisma, can be very dangerous.

yes, 2 short clips make it in the DVD.
They frame your clips with Werner Erhard himself, carefully trying to "reframe" the re-victimization of people.
They sure provided wonderful "balance" in this film...

They use it as a way to try to disarm criticism of est and Werner Erhard.

In the first 2 clips, he is doing straight-up Timeline manipulation, which comes right out of hypnosis. He is doing it as plain as day.
He is talking about files from the past in your mind, being in the future, and taking the past files from the future and putting them in the past, so the future is empty. etc. He is randomly jumping around in your Timeline, in a VERY confusing way, talking about the past-present-future, making a jumble out of it, on purpose, you can see him doing it.

In the next clip, he talks about his catchphrase, its empty and meaningless, and says it's empty and meaningless!! So he is trying to create a childish "paradox".

Its worth seeing for free, even for the old EST footage, even though they are trying to do PR for Werner.
Also, just seeing Werner in those close-up shots, with those cold-blooded eyes, his articifical voice, and their attempts to spin-doctor the past is enlightening.
