HAHA.
Non-graduates are invited. Could someone clarify to me if 'ex-communicated graduates' are invited?

What a marketing ploy. Poor innocent people walking in to 'free' training to sign away their minds and pocket-books. How gracious!

I will not be attending because I don't choose to hang out with dense energy (how many times did you hear that in training?), but if you go let me know what your experience is. I would have to put Hans and Sally in a feedback arc if I was there and then they would have me escorted out by their groupies. Anyway, I have much better things to do on my Saturday.

You know what is courageous to me?

Walking away from Impact, healing, and living my own truth.

SURE excommunicado's are! They don't hold grudges! That's not Germaine-like! LMFAO!

I would rather have bad things done to my sensitive bits than even smell one of the Bergers or trainers walking down the hall again. A day to learn about courage. Why is it that all of these LGAT's are so obsessed with making peoples lives turn into epic movies? Courage in a day, sheesh, do they have a doorway to Narnia? Is that why they don't like people going into Han's office? Maybe they are going to set a bear loose! Or a lion...

2007, A Very Good Year.

This has been a year when the Impactian influence in my life has been diminished. I was told to “Trust the Process.” That was bad advice. The process is exactly what is not trustworthy. What is the antidote to the process? The antidote is a combination of things, but foremost among them are rational thinking, logic, and analysis. The process would suppress all criticism of LGAT techniques. Could any rational, thinking, logical, analytical person fall into the LGAT trap? Only temporarily. Even though it is much harder to climb out of the trap than to stay out of it in the first place, with patience and perseverance it can be done, with the help of facts.

A forum such as this provides a safe haven for reflection and pondering on reality, a practical use of the technology of information. To those hurt by Impact Trainings processes the following are available on this thread: a little humor, glad tidings, enlightenment for the bewildered, refreshment for the weary, facts for the ignorant and hope for the processed.

Let it be said that in the latter part of the first decade of the 21st century even though an LGAT called Impact was residing in the Salt Lake Valley, it could not get any real, long term traction because the truth kept being posted on this thread. Even more compelling was the fact that the Holy Ghost would not endorse “The Process.”

Merry Christmas

I got Stephen Colbert's book I Am America (and so can you!) for Christmas. There was a paragraph in it about cults that made me laugh, so I wanted to share it here:

The problem with cults is that they don't have the brass to be honest from the get-go. They hide behind phrases like "self-improvement workshop" or "human potential coach" or "improv class", then they slowly sneak in the crazy stuff so that you don't notice. If they had any guts, in the very first meeting they'd say, "You all need to wear yellow bedsheets and have sex with me twice a day until we get beamed up to a comet in twelve years. Also, give me all your money.* Then we wouldn't have a problem --the wacky people can still join, and the people who are just suggestible can go, "Oh this is a cult" and get out of there. I'm not trying to take away someone's right to get poisoned in order to send their spirit to Pluto, I'm just saying they should know what they're getting ahead of time.
Here's an easy way to figure out if you're in a cult: if you're wondering whether you're in a cult, the answer is yes.

*The Colbert Empowerment System is different. It's not a cult, it's a Mind Management System that removes "the unwanted cash that's holding you back."

Colbert must have been to Quest. In 2005 he coined an updated version of the the word "truthiness" to mean what you want the facts to be, as opposed to what the facts are, what feels like the right answer as oposed to what reality will support. This is an even better term than "natural knowing." A google on the word "truthiness" will bring up a lot of insight into the Impact tradition. Oh!, What Colbert could bring to Impact Trainings, in modernizing their vocabulary. Can you imagine what he would do with words like: need/deserve, try, understand etc? He should be the keynote speaker for All Grads Training 2009. His roast of Hans and Sally would be a hoot.
After all, if John Denver was willing to attend Impact Trainings, why not Stephen Colbert.
