Dear Kalindi and the inner "Circle of Six"

OK... you got me; I'm tired of the harrassment.

For anyone else who follows this thread... you might want to print out anything worthwhile. I'm deleting my postings in one week.

Ciao,
toni :?

Toni:

If you remove all your posts you are encouraging the group.

If indeed they have actually harassed you, your response of removing material essentially rewards that behavior.

It also encourages them to do the same to others who may follow, again and again and again.

Really bad decision.

Toni,

You are strong enough to make your own decisions and must do so for you & you only...However we all (as rational humane beings)sometimes need to hear advice from people trying to help (you know how to critical think and decipher what is healthy for you and what is not, right? Even in times of severe stress or onslaught, stay true to your intuition...the true answer is there..if you feel "oppressed" then educate yourself on what you might do about it, who might be "trusting" aides & who not to trust...(knowledge is power - that is prob why we all contribute to the posts..both pro & con group folks!) We are all connected in some not-fully understood way. IF we argue/rant/rave vs each other. In your case though, it seems to me that you need to do whatever you need to do(AT THIS MOMENT) to protect yourself - again, educate your self about any options that you have....but also remember what the moderator said about giving them continuing power over you...they are doing these things to you for a reason.....THEY ARE SCARED! Now, why would that be? Have they done something wrong? Why are they simply calling you or writing to explain their view rather than doing "unscrupulous (sp?) acts?

We are hear to help...Keep the faith...focus on your intuition, listen to it...

PAX

Hi, Toni,

We're living on a lonely planet.

Without you, we're living on a lonelier planet. You're the missing "fifth element" that turns evil to good.

And for those evil deeds, God is watching.

deep sigh....

and a smile...

Rick, Lucretia, Ultaware, Hsuchij, and others :

Thank you all for the support, and validation to keep on.
You guys are GREAT! Thanks for the encouragement.

These $%)*^(& harrasments do get on one's nerves after a few months' steady diet 24/7. I 'cracked' after some other bad news in life.
My children dream about Kalindi haunting outside their bedroom window. The harrassment is incessant.

Also phoned a dear old friend today, tied up in law suits w/ his the TM-cult (my parents' group), to commiserate about harrassment. Last year his legal fees alone r.e. his former guru/ spiritual master were a million dollars. So, I should be grateful?

Again, thank you for your kindnesses,
t

Toni, I understand your desire to remove your posts. There are times where I feel the same. Usually it is during times of great stress. Life has it's normal stresses, you get bad news about someone or something, and you realize this is just too much. Speaking of stress...

My sources that have information regarding the January 17th meeting, are too frightened and confused to say anything at this point. No other information was given.

I happened onto this site curious to see what public info is out and about on m.o.l., and somewhat surprised there aren't more positive things said on m.o.l.. I haven't been involved with m.o.l. for some time but was close to the group for years. I did in fact have experiences with their processes that I would call transcendant or enlightening, and I continue to hold the leadership of that organization in high regard. I am sorry there are folks out there that are still in conflict about their experiences with m.o.l. and I wish them healing and closure with that part of their lives. much love, james

Introduction from "That Which is Seen, and That Which is Not Seen" by Frederic Bastiat, 1850.

"In the department of economy, an act, a habit, an institution, a law, gives birth not only to an effect, but to a series of effects. Of these effects, the first only is immediate; it manifests itself simultaneously with its cause - it is seen. The others unfold in succession - they are not seen: it is well for us, if they are foreseen. Between a good and a bad economist this constitutes the whole difference - the one takes account of the visible effect; the other takes account both of the effects which are seen, and also of those which it is necessary to foresee. Now this difference is enormous, for it almost always happens that when the immediate consequence is favourable, the ultimate consequences are fatal, and the converse. Hence it follows that the bad economist pursues a small present good, which will be followed by a great evil to come, while the true economist pursues a great good to come, - at the risk of a small present evil.

In fact, it is the same in the science of health, arts, and in that of morals. It often happens, that the sweeter the first fruit of a habit is, the more bitter are the consequences. Take, for example, debauchery, idleness, prodigality. When, therefore, a man absorbed in the effect which is seen has not yet learned to discern those which are not seen, he gives way to fatal habits, not only by inclination, but by calculation.

This explains the fatally grievous condition of mankind. Ignorance surrounds its cradle: then its actions are determined by their first consequences, the only ones which, in its first stage, it can see. It is only in the long run that it learns to take account of the others. It has to learn this lesson from two very different masters - experience and foresight. Experience teaches effectually, but brutally. It makes us acquainted with all the effects of an action, by causing us to feel them; and we cannot fail to finish by knowing that fire burns, if we have burned ourselves. For this rough teacher, I should like, if possible, to substitute a more gentle one. I mean Foresight. For this purpose I shall examine the consequences of certain economical phenomena, by placing in opposition to each other those which are seen, and those which are not seen."
