Most cult leaders make you give them a lot of money up front. Ole has a different way of operating. He is patient, if nothing else, huh?
I don't think it has ever really been about money for Ole. Of course, now that we know about his stipend it makes more sense, because he has a little nest egg and does not really have to sweat it much. Nevertheless, with Ole it is much more about getting to be the center of attention and the esteem he garners from being the foil to the televangelists. That is his payoff, his reward. Ole would rather have had the fawning piece about him that ran in the [i:50e127d96f]New Yorker[/i:50e127d96f] than a million dollars.

This isn't really about TFI, but is instead about Z's links he provided on 6/23/07.
The links are to copies of Ron Enroth's two books "Churches That Abuse" and "Recovering From Churches That Abuse" that are both now on the net. I e-mailed Ron about them and he said that he had given the site owners permission to do this awhile back but didn't know that they were on until I e-mailed him.

THOSE TWO BOOKS ROCK!!!!!!!! God really used them in my life and in the lives of countless others.

RR-

Would you consider putting a link to these two books on your site?

Reveal is currently linked at Links, and "Churches That Abuse" is linked through the Books section.

I found it on the "Former Cult Members and Affected Families" board.

Hello all. I am here to definitively report that the lawsuit rumor is untrue.
My source tells me that TFI has not been threatened with a lawsuit in several years.
