I have a new found disgust for McKay and his cult after reading back in the thread. The posts which stood out for me were those of Barbiedoll's aka Kirstie. Some of the incidents that girl witnessed and personally went through were appalling. Recently we've seen Sisi being dismissed as a person with a multi personality disorder. Well it seems this is only history repeating itself as Kirstie was also dismissed as a person with a multi personality disorder. I also stumbled across a couple of Franky's posts and she too was dismissed as a person with mental health issues. It appears anyone who criticises McKay and his cult either has a multi personality disorder or at least has some kind of mental health issues, well, according to McKay anyway (former ''Shepherd'' of the notorious ''Children of God'').

Barbiedoll aka Kirstie is a person who McKay drove to the brink of suicide. Here's a few of Kirstie's posts which stood out....

Hi all, i thought i would write a bit about my time with this group. I am free now and very glad to be. It left me damaged and in pain. But now i can move on with my life.

I got interested in them when i had nothing to do and was bored, the internet became my friend, they seemed like really honest genuine people that really loved people. But what actually was going on was not love at all it was a competition to get as many books out rather than show love to the lost. Even if someone was struggling it did not matter at all they HAD to get as many books out. On quite a few occasions i witnessed one of the members crying because she was not getting her books out. On another occasion i saw a father choose getting books out over his own son. He did not care about the needs of his child he only cared about 'witnessing'. It did not matter that his son is crying out for love and attention. His mother was encouraged by her husband to "ignore" her son and carry on with her 'job'. The poor kid. All he wants is his fathers attention yet he is deprived of it and told to stop playing and get to work.

What i went through with my time with them was not all bad though, dont get me wrong some of the stuff they teach is great, but most of the teachings dont even use bible verses, they are the thoughts of a horrible, angry little man in Australia sat in front of his computer all day searching the internet to see if there is anything written on there about him and then talking about it on his little forum where people come to worship thier great leader. They suck up to him (i know i did the same) so that they can get his approval and they never want to say anything that might upset him, because if they do they recieve his sharp little toung tha tis like a viper hitting its prey. So they remain all loving to him and go with whatever he says. If you write something on his forum he does not like then he will email you and tell you that you should not write that, and that you need to sort your spirit out with God.

So many other things that i could just talk about for hours, but my fingers hurt now so i wont.

The reason i am sharing now, so long after leaving is because i hope that my experinces with this group will help someone else to see them for what they truely are. What is that i hear you say... a small group of people, some say a cult, that just follow the teachings of one man, they say it is Jesus Chrit ......but really...... it is Dave Mckay.

It is chilling, the father-son-mother thing, I actually felt the pain of both mother and son in the family. I could see in both thier eyes that they both wanted more. I know that the mother would tell the rest of the world that she loves what she does, but when i saw her and her son together, in private when no-one was around watching them, i could see the love between them and how much i could see her pain that her son was calling out. Of course this is all IMO. It may not be true at all, she might be as cold as the father but from what i saw that is not true. I hope and pray that the mother and son will get more times together and not think of anything else except thier relationship, and that they enjoy one another for who they are. Children should never be deprived of anything and love is the main one, it is easy to say "I love you" but showing it is another thing entirly.

Here Kirstie is referring to cult members Roland and Sue who had a young child named Dan. Roland, Sue and their son appeared on Wifeswap a few years ago which gave a sad insight into the lonely life of a child being raised in the JCs cult. Kirstie's comments just further highlight the troubles young Dan faced throughout his childhood. It's clear that these cult members were under so much pressure to hit their target's that even their duties as a mother and father were ignored. Selling books and hitting their targets was always the priority. This is the level of control these people were under. Roland, Sue and Dan have thankfully now left the cult. It is believed they left the cult after McKay's constant interference into the upbringing of their child. They left the cult 20 years too late but better late than never. This was a huge blow to McKay who had big plans for young Dan who would have been shortly approaching the legal age to leave school and sell McKay's literature on the street full-time.

Barbiedoll is someone who spent alot of time with the British members of the cult. If you use the forum search engine and type in Barbiedoll you will find several interesting posts which give an insight into McKay and his cult.

JESUS CHRISTIANS NEWSLETTER #100, MAY 2008

MEDIA

Media coverage in the U.K. has alternated between reports on Ash's
donation to Sandi in Cyprus, and the freegan work that our teams are
doing there. Alf and Ash appeared on "This Morning" in the U.K. and
burned a 20 pound ($50) note to illustrate how people become
seriously concerned over the destruction of a worthless piece of
paper while turning a blind eye to literally millions of dollars
worth of good clean food being bulldozed into landfill.

Does anyone know where I can view this?

JESUS CHRISTIANS NEWSLETTER #100, MAY 2008

Below are some of Christine's comments on the situation in Kenya at
the moment:

EXCERPTS FROM CHRISTINE'S GENERAL REPORT

Politically things have improved in Kenya. It was a bit touch and go
with forming the new power-sharing cabinet as extremists from both
camps were pushing the two leaders into hardline positions. But
eventually the two leaders got together away from their constituents
and came up with an agreement. In order to get enough people into
the cabinet to satisfy everyone, they had to increase the number of
ministries from 24 to 40. These cabinet ministers get paid a lot of
money (more than in western countries), so there was a bit of outrage
in some quarters about what that would cost the taxpayers; but
overall people were happy that a power-sharing agreement had been
made and civil war has been averted. Currently peace talks are still
continuing, to try to deal with some of the underlying reasons why
violence broke out (like land disputes) but the talks have lost
a bit of momentum and not as much is happening there as it should.

Despite the improvement politically there has been a lot of violence
between the government and various militia groups. The military went
into Mount Elgon (where the Sabaot Land Defence Force is) and started
attacking young Saboat men and bombing people from helicopters.
(It's a guerilla organisation so it's hard for the military to know
who's involved and who's not). No media were allowed into the area
(and were jailed if they dared to try to sneak in) so it seems they
had something to hide.

A lot of people have been tortured and have disappeared (presumably
killed). There are several hundred torture victims in a jail in the
Mount Elgon area. The military blames the jail for the torture and
the jail says the victims arrived that way. Everyone knows it was
the military, but no-one is being made to account for it.

Then there is the Mungiki, the Kikuyu secret society, which during
the
post-election violence organised attacks and evictions of western
Kenyans in retaliation for what was being done to Kikuyus. The
Mungiki leader is in jail, but the government had agents watching
other significant Mungiki leaders, including the wife of the main
leader. Somehow, despite the surveillance, the leader's wife and her
driver were assassinated.

The Mungiki immediately accused the police/government of doing it.
The government claimed it was the result of in-fighting amongst
Mungiki. So Mungiki decided to do a show of unity and declared a
general strike in Kikuyu areas. It was very effective and did cast
doubt on claims from the government that Mungiki were suffering from
in-fighting. The strike went on for a few days, and anyone who
didn't comply with the strike was at risk of violence from Mungiki
youth. It only stopped when the leader in jail called an end to the
strike.

A shop owner, who refused to honour the strike, was beheaded on the
very corner where Fran and Kim had been staying earlier in the month.

The price of food is continuing to rise, because so much food was
destroyed in the post election violence and because many people were
not able to plant

Being school holidays, we have more volunteers than usual. It's
nice having some of the older orphans back on deck, as well as some
guys we met through the Easy English project.

A four year old orphan boy named Valentine stay with us for a month
(to get proper nursing care) while he recovered from an operation on
his hands. We all grew a bit attached to him while he was here.

"Progress" has come to our local markets. Motorbike taxis (called
piki-pikis) have arrived and are in competition with the bicycle
taxis (boda-bodas) and matatus. It's sad in a way, as the piki-pikis
will put some of the boda bodas and matatus out of business.

This is why it is so very important that child molesters like ''X'' are reported to the police and encouraged to seek the appropriate treatment. Here we have a situation where a 4 year old boy was living with the cult for a month. I knew they worked closely with vulnerable children but I didn't know they actually lived with them at times. I would imagine this was not a one off and that many children have stayed with the JCs. This concerns me considering the soft approach Dave McKay has towards paedophile's and child molesters.

I hope people like Blackhat now realise why it's so very important that we deal with this head on. We are talking about the safety of children here.

Here's another news report on the paedophile that Davejc claimed as a friend and wrote demanding that he be treated with compassion. In his pious pleading Davejc adroitly avoided mentioning his own involvement in aiding this man's continuing career of abusing children---- from the Newcastle Herald:

Newcastle Herald, 14 November 1998
Page 5, News, Words - 418

Child Sex Tourist

A HUNTER man who preyed on poverty-stricken children while overseas pleaded guilty to 15 sex charges in Newcastle District Court yesterday.

Bruce Clyde Steel, 42, formerly of Carrington, admitted to sexually assaulting children as young as two years old.

The offences occurred during a 20-year period in Newcastle, Sydney and India.

Steel is only the second person in NSW to be prosecuted under the Crimes (Child Sex Tourism) Act, which was introduced in 1994.

It was the first time an Australian has been prosecuted for offences in India.

The court was told of 15 counts of child sex assault, including three in India.

A further 33 similar charges are expected to be brought next week.

Most of the charges involved young boys. Two charges involved young girls.

Dressed in prison greens, Steel sat quietly in the dock yesterday as the charges were read.

He spoke only to utter the word `guilty' when asked how he pleaded.

One charge of performing oral sex on a 9-year-old boy carries a maximum jail term of 25 years.

In documents tendered to the court it was revealed the former State Rail Authority worker travelled to India as a volunteer social worker in November 1997.

While there he sexually assaulted young Indian beggars on trains and at railway stations in Chennai.

The Australian offences included numerous children and dated back to the mid 1970s when Steel was living in Sydney.

He admitted to sexually abusing children while travelling on trains from Sydney to Newcastle.

Documents tendered to the court said that after settling in the Hunter in the early 1980s, Steel continued to assault young children he met through friends and at local shops.
He was arrested by officers from the Child Protection Enforcement Agency this year after writing a nine-page confession.

National director of End Child Prostitution, Pornography and Trafficking (ECPAT) Ms Bernadette McMenamin said yesterday the case was a warning to other offenders.

Ms McMenamin said Australia had the second-highest number of prosecutions for child sex tourism offences, after Germany.

`This case is significant as it shows Australians are travelling away from traditional sex tourist destinations to more off the beaten tracks to exploit poor and vulnerable children.'

Judge Ian Dodd adjourned the case to November 20 for sentence.

Was the Newcastle Herald the same paper where Davejc ran full page ads for the notorious Children of God and yet now claims to have always disapproved of their practices?

Dear Stoic,

Thanks for the article! As you comically point out his full page ads (TWO YEARS AFTER "flirty fishing" was introduced!) for the COGs clearly indicate where his sympathies lay....the current claims that he "disapproved of their practises" simply being McKays attempt to (yet again) whitewash history...much as his claim that "he" elected to disassociate himself from the COG's (when we know that it was only due to Cherry's protests!)

...the concern that he "pre-empt" anyone identifying him, as ultimately responsible for Bruce having access to the children he did
(or that "X" had access to in Kenya?) is the ultimate driving force behind his subsequent "letters to the editor" of this newspaper
and his other various diversionary activities...
