Google translate from the exmisa forum: An interesting deeper discussion of the atman/misa cult problem. With the November 28 raids in France, French justice has launched an action looking at a series of charges involving the entire ATMAN organization, the name under which MISA's international network hides. On this occasion, interest in the MISA phenomenon was revived in the media, m

I'm so upset, deeply concerned and profoundly shocked and didn't know where else to notify people about this. The ASI, which I joined several years ago, calls for ethical integrity among spiritual teachers, a noble cause, but it turns out that rather than embodying the ethical standards they advocate for, their director (also a co-founder) and several on the board of advisors/staff appe

I have been thinking a lot in the past weeks as to how I could not see through the madness of my covert cult: The science of identity. And a narcissistic, germaphobic, rather abusive guru (chris butler). How did a person like myself who has had such high BS detector end up in such setting. To put up with so much fear and coertion? How could so many Iskcon devotees be misled by the wolves in sa

Frozen Nick, Its laziness, blind faith, etc etc. Everyone wants a quick fix/answer/solution—spirituality is largely a farse undertaken by people addicted to cheap and quick fixes to their problems. Unfortunately, while it may work for a little bit when it's fresh and new, like most things in life it loses it's appeal and eventually the devotee finds themselves still needing to deal with

Joey Klein has not followed a good path. He was likely one of the students that was groomed and manipulated by Sai Maa. I was just reading on about how she would have sexual relations with her closest students. I have no doubts one of them was Joey Klein. He was young, attractive, and lost when he first went to a Sai Maa event and she quickly took him under her wing and around the world with

James Swartz Criticizes Sai Baba! One Child Rapist Goes After a Molester. OMG... What was James Swartz thinking? Could it have been: "I'm better than Sai Baba, 'cause at least I raped underage girl(s), not boys. At least I'm no Homo!" "He got so many more young victims than I did that he's much 'worse' than me. (Plus, I'm jealous.)

In my opinion, from the evolution of humanity point of view - many of us who are drawn to a spiritual path in this life may have hundreds of lifetimes of association with the true masters like Ramana, Haidikan Baba, Neem Karoli Baba, Shirdi Sai Baba, and Bhagawan Nityananda, Shivabalayogi. The intense inner work necessary for final liberation requires from the disciple mumukshutva (deep and persi

Let us investigate and tread very carefully. Strange things have been done online to discredit critics of abusives gurus. I cite the following instances as examples of this behavior in general. I am not citing these examples to suggest or hazard any guess who is involved with the Cult or Culture site. Right now, we need to get more information. (Cue theme theme music from either

What follows are a few quotations from a remarkable article written by a thoughtful Indian who loves Hinduism and is worried by how commercial gurus are perverting it into a cash point/ATM. Why I Hate Gurus Mallika Rao QuoteWhen costs are high, you find buyers in the desperate. My closest brush with a guru came in 2008, as I suffered severe anxiety after the illness and death

I just did some googling and found this resource – I really wish I had found it before. I just attended the Sai Maa event here in England and I wish I came across this site before to attend this event. I went because my good friend asked me to go, she said this would bring me some good energy to recharge my soul. I felt like it couldn’t’ hurt and I should give anything a try with an open mind.
