I know enough. They were not incorporated until 2005. They claim non-denominational but if you go through their beliefs it's pentecostal. I can't seem to find where the good minister worked prior to this. It's scary stuff, isn't it? Let me know if you get any ideas. I would love to know where this guy got his education and all... Janet

Ladies and Gentlemen, I think this illustrates the idealogy of this troll. This argument will continue and the topics they bring up will be dodged repeatedly. One of the best debate tricks is to switch the topic. I'm waiting for an answer on is in my original post to you Abc. Go back to my first answer, and try to actually reply to the issues at hand. You posted, I replied. What an

I researched deeper and realized this "church" in a strip mall filed for their non-profit incorp. status in November of 2006. The "healing center" did same in 2005! So I gather this is a "new" cult????

My parents started going to a small, more charismatic church . I believe it's called "River of Life." Then they bought "healing water" from the church for $58 a bottle. I was a little suspicious but I found out that it was Mona Vie Acai berry stuff. That seemed pretty harmless I guess. Well now they're all hepped up about the "Be In Health" program in

I could have written this post about my own life. I actually checked the post to be sure I hadn't written it. My parents were very emotionally neglecting of me. All three of us kids had a lot of behavioral problems, some involving the law. As years passed, money became more plentiful - for them. They very much resent and fear their own family needing them for anything. When I say m

My father got involved with promise keepers. Like everything else, he threw himself into the group head first. He was so active with the darn group that he forgot about his family at home. He volunteered to be usher for the weekend, etc. My greatest benefit from his attendance in PK is that it was that much less time I had to deal with him.

All you need do is talk to a muslim from the affected areas (Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Iraq, etc.) If you ask very direct and to the point questions, you'll learn just what I did. They consider us their enemy. They are very clear on this point. They come here seeking political refuge in droves to such an extent that we have to hold a lottery for admittance, yet they want to kill us. Mi

Seems the latest thing to do is sell acai berry health juice. It claims to be natures perfect bounty with the highest amount of antioxidants, blah blah blah. Even Oprah mentioned it, oh my. My parents heard about this Mona Vie (Acai Berry drink) at church, as a sort of healing water. Their price? $58 a bottle! I say it better be real wine for that price. The prices range dramatically

For Abc, Firstly you are writing to a predominantly Christian audience (at least people who were raised in a Christian society.) Many believe the biblical view that god has condemned arabs to be forever at war, the land of the jews shall never be parted, and you are descendants of Ismael which further cursed you. What you live is pre-ordained, but consider your audience. Here where I li

I sure wouldn't recommend a pentecostal church, either. It concerns me because my parents are wealthy and in their 70's. The place is operating out of a strip mall and only got their corporate filing (501c3 non profit) in November of 2006. I stopped communicating with them entirely because I am bipolar and they seem to trigger very bad reactions for me. I couldn't possibly

My parents are going to this new church. I've been trying to learn anything at all about this church. They go with faith healing, and push it on others. It's called "The River of Life." They are charismatic, new age, etc. They do all the dancing, hands waving praise, tambourine waving, on and on. I live in another state so I can't personally go there. Any thou

How does a medication resistant, rapid cycling, bipolar person with phobic tendencies and generalized anxiety disorder and depression Quotekameornj First off, I can not speak to what it is like to be bipolar. I have known people who have emotional issues (that could quite possibly been due to being bipolar), but no one was diagnosed. But that doesn’t mean I can’t speak to your post. Bec

This is common of many people. It's hard to understand that a bipolar person does not have control. If one would read a little bit, not even a lot but a little bit, on bipolar, this would click. Bipolar is clearly diagnosed as a biological disorder, not an emotional one. The thing I fault my parents for is very clear. Conditional love and emotional neglect. Many biplar children fail

I have an usual question and comments that require a little explanation. I'm bipolar and often struggle to meet even minimum requirements of my day. I get depressed to the point that I go to bed; or I get manic until I cause tendonitis with extreme pain. My parents are not only stuck in the Baptist cult, they seem to, at times, run the thing. They've done this to the point of r
